I am talking about DreamShield because I think it’s a nice install creator (not talking only about interface) and I didn’t saw any programs that have DreamShield as installer due to its low popularity. So I wanted to see DreamShield “in action” and if it will be used for Black Mesa it will become more popular and the DreamShield’s developers will develop it further.
This will be the end of the Black Mesa project

-Have mentioned DS by name in EVERY single post you have made here so far,
-Get pissy at any discussion that is not about DS or puts it in a negative way.
You either own it, work for it, or will get something out of it being used in BM. Seeing as it’s free, I’d guess that the idea is to be able to use BM as a promotional tool, with Google hits from repeating its name, to being able (you wish) to say “As used in the popular Source engine mod Black Mesa” etc.
Most people join up here because they’re excited about the mod and want to discuss it or cry about it not being done yet. You however seem to have joined to wank on and on about Dreamshield. DO NOT WANT. Enjoy that in you Google search results.
I was monitoring the Black Mesa mod from 2008 when I heard the first time about it. I had an account on this forum before the hard drive failure but I haven’t posted because I didn’t have something specially to say. After the hard drive failure I haven’t registered again because I didn’t have again nothing to say. Now I registered here to post a suggestion for the mod, not to promote DS. However I don’t have any other suggestion so I don’t post anything outside this topic (yet so far…).
Because this suggestion is about DS. If here we are talking about DS, don’t you think that it’s normal to post about it?
Well here if you are refering to the posts that don’t have anything in common with the topic, I’m trying to make the people to stay on topic. If you are refering that I recommend using installers than only archives, I am just saying my opinion. All of us have this right. Also my opinion is that DreamShield is an excellent install creator so that’s why I recommend it.

This is exactly what I’ve done. I registered here to post a suggestion, but I see that some guys are trying to destroy my suggestion. I am interested about the mod and I can’t wait to be released, this is the reason why I am trying to help. The devs can accept my suggestion or not, that isn’t a problem for me.

Well, I mean installing the mod when it’s finished. I told you about DreamShield before the mod release to have enough time to think about it.

Interesting suggestion, but I’m pretty confident the devs know best how to distribute their stuff.
I’d prefer a steam release though.
BMS will be distributed via mail order only!
In print form. You get a load of paper with ones and zeroes on and have to manually enter them.

Me too. However, the distribution method isn’t a very important problem. The most important part is the mod and I am sure that it will be the best mod made in the Source Engine.
