Seriously, there is nothing about this game that looks bad. Maybe the radial menu, but I hear even that might be customizable in the PC release.
Oh I am loving this. Dishonored seems like it takes that little optional gameplay style or half-cheat/exploit/going about things in an unintended way I always love and actually makes the entire game about it.
I don’t know if that’s for the better or worse, though. Seeing as how I love doing that stuff it looks like a great opportunity, but when it’s the intended path it might not seem as fulfilling to outsmart the game.
But whatever the case, it seems to finally do exactly what I want, and I can’t wait.

Hasn’t anyone ever heard of fucking art direction? Just because it’s stylized and not meant to look uber-crysis-bloom people bitch and moan.
It looks fine.
They aren’t doing themselves any favors by showing off the console version, but it’s pretty clear that in 1080p with AA and everything cranked to high, this game will look fucking good.

I don’t think they were talking about that. I’m 100% opposite to a graphics whore, but I can definitely see some unfocused, low-resolutions (or what appears to be) in there. The hands around the guards neck in the beginning of the video seem to be a little lack-luster.
Once more, I don’t give a shit, I’m just saying that they might be there – but that’s probably an 360 thing.
I play games for the game part, if I want realism I can go outside.

The graphics are good enough, they clearly went for a stylized look instead of realistic and I guess they wanted the game to run smoothly at all times, since this type of game benefits from that.
I’ve been scouring the internet for one, but found nuthin.
Did anyone see the gameplay demo on Spike? It looked like it was running on a PC and it looked amazing. Also this game has a lean function, which is really rare.
I would think in a game like this, it would be necessary to have it, wouldn’t it?

edit: holy crap, that looks incredible. The industry needs more games like this but unfortunately it’s just safer and more profitable to produce manshooters that numb your mind with destruction porn and rapid fire swearing every 5 seconds.
It’s what the majority wants. That’s why movies like Transformers are so successful. People don’t want to use their brains, they just want to be entertained.

I’m not one to complain about graphics, but I really hope those broken vents and that “teleportation” effect you see when you crawl/swim through them is WIP. It totally removes me from the game.
Damnit. Another game I want play but probably won’t be able to run.
I’d hoped that after I played Bioshock I wouldn’t have to deal with this again.
