Disable Audio and Massive Constant Lag Stops.

So, I’m getting a bit pissed off at this problem. I’ve looked up solutions and so far the only one that has worked is disabling my audio yeah that’s right DISABLING my audio. So, here’s a good example WITH audio on, I join a server in Synergy that says 130 ping, ok alright…so I get my ass in there and sooner or later it goes up to like 170, then over 200, and if I’m really unlucky I get passed 500 ping. Even at 130 ping with audio on animations and physics lag like they should NOT. My specs:

DirectX Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+
RAM: 4095 Mb
AMD Phenom 8750 x3 2.4
D-Link Wireless DWA-125 N 150 USB

go in dxdiag audio tab and disable the acceleration bar all the way then reboot

might only work on XP

maybe try a different sound card I have like 7 lying around

your first problem is joining servers with a ping of 130ms

Nah, I get ping of 700 sometimes and no lag. But then I get autokicked.

If your ping is high you’re lagging by definition.

That might explain the ping. Get a real NIC and maybe your CPU load will go down as will your ping.

Ok, one I just got this one, and two, I don’t care about if that’s the cause or not because I have a D-Link router as well and I’m busy getting bombarded by this stupid group with group events, yeah I’m leaving this stupid group. Anyway, does anyone have a real solution? Because this is retarded.
