Dino D-Day released

I heard some of you kids like HL2 mods, so check this shit out.

Dino D-day.

Yes, a WW2 mod with nazi dinosaurs.

haha wow

Nazi Dinosaurs > Nazi Zombies

Agreed.

Shit I’m so downloading this.

looks interesting downloading.

Been playing it for about an hour, but it’s just the slowest game ever. I don’t even get it, I cranked the settings down as low as they can go but it’s like playing Dino D-Day: Slideshow. God, I hope this doesn’t happen to me with Black Mesa.

(for the record, other mods I’ve played like MINERVA, Research & Development, run fine at suggested settings on my computer. Any idea what’s going on with Dino D-day?)

Same problem.

R&D and Episode 2 run fine for me, and the OB games are the same way.

Not sure why this one performs so poorly but I’m glad to hear I’m not alone.

Well I’m fucked.

Don’t have ep2…

I kindof like this mod but it has alot of glitches.

just think: “it’s an illusion it’s an illusion it’s an illusion it’s an illusion it’s an illusion it’s an illusion,” and it’ll be alright

What the fuck man. I’m so downloading this.

I spy Ballsopt in the image comments. Also, what the hell, I’ll give it a bash.
.

To Homemade Muffins and anyone else having the same problem I was, put -dxlevel 80 in your game startup settings. It let me run the game on full-specs without a hitch.

Wtf, does it end after you kill the t-rex, or am I too retarded to figure out where to go?

I didn’t find it that great.

It’s fun it just has too many glitches right now :frowning:

Well, the best mod ever has already been made. So close BM, so close.

It’s also going to have a commercial release! I’ll download this later but the premise (and screenshots) are awesome!

Well it seems as though they made the end clear enough- i would’ve read the end text but I was being eaten so I couldn’t concentrate.

the action, really, just does -not- let up- it’s worse than Left 4 Dead, So god damn unrelenting to have to take on a T-rex, Nazi soldiers and a gang of malcontent raptor youths without much of a clue as to what to do.

As a bonus point I had no idea you had to get the T-rex to ram the bridge until it happened naturally after blowing at least a thousand rounds into the god damned thing.
