Deus Ex

The Templar church is considered part of the “Paris” section of the game though, even if it is technically outside of the city proper.

I knew something was wrong when I got the Dragon Tooth Sword and then went into MJ12. Low-Tech Master. :frowning:

Apparently Montréal is releasing an official release date this week.: https://www.videogamer.com/news/deus_ex_release_date_announcement_this_week.html

A release date for a release date. Genius! Hope the devs are taking notes. I gotta say, I’m ballz tightingly excited for this game. I just hope I’m not putting my hopes to high.

They said it’ll be out early this year, didn’t they?

I think this game should be judged on its own strengths and weaknesses, and keep the comparisons with the first game to a minimum, because let’s be honest, comparing it to the masterpiece that is DX1 would be unfair, even if it manages to be a great game on its own.

Not to mention ignoring the standard complaints that the game isn’t exactly the same as Deus Ex.

According to Amazon the release date is set to be on June 30th. IMO we should put to much belief in that, however.

Good game, yes. Masterpiece, no.

+1

I just got the game recently. I freed that one guy at the bottom of the statue, but he says to go to the top. WHERE IS IT? I went to it and I find two guys talking. There isn’t anything on the floor below it besides a fuckton of guards, and the floor even lower is the place I freed that one guy and stole money from the atm.

You guys know where I am supposed to go? :frowning:

You keep going up after the two guys talking. There’s a ladder you need to climb up.

Thank you…

Seems we now have an official date to mark on our calendars https://www.gamefocus.ca/news/13200. August 23rd it is. Just 5 more months to go.

FFFFFF-

Too long, I’m going to just forget about caring until July or so.

Ah good. I’ll have plenty of time to finish my other games (such as the first two games in the series) in the interm.
