I’m considering of buying one, does anyone here actually have one? What’s it like for gaming, is there any ghosting?
Thanks

cant comment on that specific monitor though I know dell are pretty good for that kinda stuff. my old laptop monitor still works - no dead pixels - 5 years into its rather impressive life.
thing is though that monitor is rather expensive for what it is.
Im not sure if ur from US or UK but £300~ is a bit steep for a monitor…
https://www.ebuyer.com/product/187993 would something i would suggest.
been using hanspree for monitors since i built my desktop about 3 years ago, amazing monitors. now using a hanspree tv for a monitor and its fantastic.
Um next time use Google, here’s the first link they provided.

I’ve been reading reviews via Google all day now, but they’re either by complete n00bs who just look at the spec sheet and criticize it, or professional photographers who are only interested in the color space and such.
I want to know first hand from people who actually own one and use it for games.
We have a bunch of that model here at work. Make sure you get a warranty with them if you decide to get one. We’ve had quite a few that have gone bad. they have a tendancy to randomly shutoff and not want to power back on unless you unplug them for a while. Dell has been good about covering them though.
nice email address. think i’ll sign u up for porn

Well, I went ahead and ordered one from Dell, it comes with a 3-year warranty. Hope it doesn’t take too long and hopefully it’s a good one.
Would you be kind enough to reply to this post when you get it and test it out? I’ve been looking at that monitor myself and I agree with your OP - all the reviews are done by novices (who only want to surf the web) or professionals who expect $4000 performance from a $400 monitor. My biggest concern was a number of reviews that mentioned pretty common green/pink tinting issues that Dell’s warranty doesn’t cover.
What about the Asus monitors, there pretty fucking bang on.
Yeah sure, with luck it’ll arrive tomorrow
EDIT: Holy crap! Meet my new desktop:
Thanks for the update, Lord Grievous. What particular mountain is that?
Side note #1 - you have good taste in programs (the only one I see on your desktop that I don’t use is Limewire).
Side note #2 - would you be willing to take a picture of the monitor setup at your desk? To be sure, a single still photo won’t tell me how well the monitor works for games/movies, but it wouldn’t hurt either . If not, I guess I’ll see for myself if/when I get it (my current monitor is starting to flicker on me )
