Thanks.

Tbh it doesn’t look as bad as people are saying. Then again, I never got the arguments against the new action focus because I never regarded Dead Space as a full on horror game anyway.

Agreed. The only main gripe i have on the game is that it is very repetitive. But i already expected that so i’m not too fussed.

Playing it right now and it’s a solid 8/10 so far:

  • crafting weapons is a great add on
  • top notch sound design
  • improved gfx( though PC version has locked 30 FPS if you turn the vertical synch on)
  • less scary than the previous games
  • it gets repetitive really fast
  • story is not that good
  • inclusion of the co-op missions in the single player campaign(for instance “these doors can be opened, they are for co-op”)which breaks the immersion

How much more graphically-intensive is Dead Space 3 compared to DS2, anyone know?

On PC it looks better and once you turn vertical synch off the game is smoother(I sometimes get around 100 FPS).The game is not very demanding on the old system requirements and there are advanced graphical options such as different types of anti-aliasing(FXAA,SMAA)and such.

Hm, cool. I might add it to my wishlist then.

Edit: So there’s no PC demo. Fucking EA.

WELP

That’s what they get.

Walkthrough Part 8 - up in 2 hrs

Also feedback on my videos would be great. One main question i have is, is 1080p really worth it? or should i stick to 720p and get 2x more videos up a day. Would manage to get 4 to 6 videos up a day if i did that. The downside would be that the quality would be lowered by quite a bit dependant on your tv screen size.

Cr1tikal’s video is all you’ll ever need about Dead Space 3:

^ Oh, man, that was funny.

^Seconded.

Is that video spoilerish?

I don’t think so. Also, each and every one of Cr1tikal’s commentary videos are worth watching if you don’t mind your nipples becoming hard as rocks.

“He has digivolved into Isaac-legsmon!” I lost my shit at that part. XD

Oh, the system requiremnents for this game are exactly the same as Dead Space 2. Agh, I really want this game now, but I can’t afford it and I don’t think that Origin has sales all that often.
