Dead Rising 2 combo weapons

Just got this game today and having a hell of a time selotaping power tools together. Anyone know any good combinations?

So far I have found:

I.E.D. (propane canister and box of nails)
Defiler (fire axe and sledgehammer)
Rocket Launcher (fireworks and lead pipe)
Paddesaw (padde and chainsaw)
Auger (drill motor and pitchfork)
Exsanguinator (vacuum and sawblade)

Drill buckets nice, only because its a drill bucket, not because its useful. I personally love the boxing gloves + bowie knife combo. Its fast and really deadly.

+1 to boxing gloves and bowie knife. also there’s a push broom and some other knife combination, don’t remember exactly what, but that also worked very well

and of course, the good ol’ bat and nail combo. every time you leave the safe house you have enough materials before entering the mall to make two bat and nail combos

Electric Guitar + Amp makes a soundwave-blasting guitar that blows up enemy’s heads.
One of my favorites is the boombow; dynamite + bow gives you ten shots, about as useful as a high-explosive rocket launcher. And unlike the launcher you mentioned, you can carry it around.

Also, Spear + Drill makes for a very fast weapon that’s good for taking down plenty of bosses.

Machete + Broom is good, but I haven’t seen many machetes lying around.

Gas can+ watergun= flamethrower

Good for kickin zombie ass when they are in large groups :slight_smile:

MMA Gloves + Nails = Tenderizers

Alcohol + newspaper = Molotov
(at least in Case Zero, dunno why they’d take it out of the full game)

It does in the full game. Not really that great though.

Pitchfork + Shotgun yields the highest-PP weapon in the game, and a great Evil Dead reference. You can only use its supreme attack if you actually earn the combo card (as opposed to just getting it by combining the weapons)

I just discovered the leafblower + umbrella combo. Good times! Although not particularly practical.

Piece of Meat+Dynamite= Dyno-meat

Holy Hell! IT IS FUUUUUUNNNN!!!

You can find dynamite at the construction zones around the area. Just combine 'em and have fun. Works like regular meat, but BETTER :slight_smile:

I recently confirmed the pipe + fireworks as god tier. It can’t be stored in you inventory, but its 75 rockets can kill a hell of a lot of zombies.

Giant bear with Light machine gun = Freedom bear

Football+grenade= Hail Mary.

Wheelchair + Fireworks = Well… Nothing. But they really should equal something. Would be cool.

I havent played left for dead 2 yet, but i would imagine wheelchair + fireworks would eventually equal exploding wheelchair.

Rockets on the other hand, that would be sweet. Rocket wheelchair ftw.

In Dead Rising, Fireworks = Rockets. Also, I’d like you to note the Dead Rising part of that statement.

That was a complete typo, oppps, my mistake. I meant to type Dead Rising 2, I own Left 4 Dead 2 and had it on my mind.

I played the first DR and am looking forward to the combo weapons in DR2. I agree tho, some kind of firework/rocket powered wheelchair would be sweet.
