Have a room with a TF2 sentry and engineer in it, just chillin and then after a while the engineer would go “That freeman is a spy” then the sentry would shoot gordon and the whole “You were killed by” thing would appear then you’d respawn in a safe area
I think Chuck Norris would be more an infinite number/0.001 instead of 99/99
lol, ∞ would be better!!
Short said: what you get if you divide a number above zero with zero because zero can be multiplied ∞ times and still be zero! 8D
I like this idea.
I like the idea too. No way in fuck just two scientists in the whole facility have the guts to arm themselves.
Unfortunately it won’t happen…
- Mod is released
- Spinnaz on the trams
- Glock behaves more like the old, satisfying version and less like the wimpy little peashooter that is the HL2 version
- Gonarch’s ranged attack is… you know what let’s not go there
- Crowbar animations are more similar to HL1 (hand offscreen, really fast swing)
if only
Suggestions that would get removed from a formal thread, huh?
How about releasing the mod tomorrow? Pretty sure that would get sweeped right off there.
what’s wrong with HL2’s pistol? sure, it does 3 points less damage, but what makes the glock the “satisfying version”?
here lemme get that for you
- Gonarch’s ranged attack sticks to cave ceilings and drips oozey death
Even if it’s unfinished and buggy in places?
HL2 pistol, because of its high rate of fire, its airsoft-gun fire sounds, and the larger number of shots needed to kill (CPs have a good 10-20 points more health than, say, a HL1 zombie or a vortigaunt, and don’t even get me started on manhacks) just feels kind of wimpy. HL1 pistol’s slower rate of fire and the fact that enemies actually die when shot a couple times (well, up until Office Complex and We’ve Got Hostiles, but by then you have the shotgun) make it feel like you’re actually doing some pretty decent damage.
I second that.
The pistol from HL1 had a secondary fire mode that allowed you to shoot at a fairly high speed, about as fast as I get, so I really doubt it’s the rate of fire.
I don’t follow.
Actually CPs have 24 less health than the zombies for most of the game & 10 less starting on Anticitizen One. However the pistol does 8 damage in hl1 & 5 damage in hl2. The headshot damage multiplier for all weapons in hl1 it’s 3x & in hl2 it’s 2x. Either way it only really amounts to 1 or 2 extra shots.
The HL2 glock sounds pretty wimpy when compared to the HL1 one.
Not Airsoft, but pretty bad.
A game that has been in the work for over 4 years? Buggy isn’t in its vocabulary. What I mean by that is; Statistically speaking it’s highly possible that Black Mesa currently has less bugs than any offically released games due to massive amounts of glorious polishing. Though I’m quite happy about that, source proves to be semi-resilliant when it comes to massive problems that can’t be fixed via loading a saved game. So generally they could probably release the game with minimal amounts of bugs.
Please Read: [COLOR=‘Red’]Saying all this, I fully understand that I technically have no idea how buggy the game is – nor how far they have come since the last time that was stated. So I am making a generalization by saying what I did, but it’s almost completly fair to say with the given amount of information. I also did not address the fact that the mod may not be 100% done.
Que someone taking what I said out of context and whining at me – Go!
But he will soon. Right? </on topic> :3
