I dunno… I think Mario did it… no wait, that was just Luigi’s Mansion… again, and again, and again… I still think it would be the coolest boss ever to be in a videogame!
Erm, Half Life?
What are you talking about?
You know, the giant baby doll thing with an oversized head that opens after setting lots of weird brains on you. Then you throw a grenade at it and it asplodes and gman comes in and rapes you.
G-Man never raped you… he showed you the Matrix, and let you choose whether to jump out of a window or enter some flashing green electrocuting thing. Although, he did send you to the worlds biggest gang bang… I never really forgot that army… Ugh…
That was scripted, you moron.
NPC’s CAN fall. They just don’t have the opportunity to unless they’re spawned in the air and set to fall.
I know, but they won’t do it under almost any kind of normal circumstances, JUST that.
Aside from Losmoges’s example, I direct you to First Bullsquid’s Teleport-Fall, and c2a5a’s Headcrab If You Get It To Jump But Pull Out So It Misses You, and Snarks On A Plane (the fictional scenario of throwing snarks off of a plane).
Trolldetector… WTF?! Oh well… he’s a troll, anyway. And NPC’s falling looks retarded if it isn’t scripted. Then they just stand like normal and lands like nothing happened. Epic.
Npcs falling can look great. Just not in Source.
It looks great in Jedi Academy when you force push them off a ledge
Interesting.
PS: We were discussing how a npc body would react to hitting the floor after a fall. FAQ - * Rule 8
The exploding part was scripted, too. It was just a sound, in fact.
i thought it was magic
Ahhh, fake ragdolls.
Ram should so parent a sci ragdoll’s leg to the BP tentacle.
Let’s all parent ragdoll limbs to moving things!
You mean that spinning saw blade surgical machine of death?
:awesome:
^O hell yes!
