CS:GO Avalible For Prepurchase

Bought it as soon as I saw it. Funny thing, because I don’t play Counter-Strike at all, but I want the new engine for modding.

Got CS:GO, and couldnt wait… untill I saw this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4cfo0f88Ug&feature=player_embedded

DECISIONS D:

So the beta was to come out at 10AM PTD, not 12AM PDT.

God damn it man.

It’s now past 10 AM PDT…

BETA IS LIVE!

GO GO GO

Why aren’t you ingame then ?

okay, now it’s live

That’s odd. I’m in-game. Maybe the steam profile isn’t updating?

EDIT: Yeah the steam profiles were just being messed up.

EDIT 2: Do ANY servers currently host bots? Sometimes me and my friends want to just do bot matches but that just doesn’t happen. I’d set up my own private server if I weren’t running into problems with csgo-ds.

The new trailer is fucking awesome.

can’t wait for the css and cs 1.6 “pros” whine how cs:go is so much different than their favourite game they’re pro in and how they won’t play it nor support it

I am getting used to CSGO, unlike these guys whine “RECOIL IS DIFFERENT SO IT SUCK!”

I actually like the aiming system. The new reticule makes it very intuitive.

I have Counter Strike Source, but I suck at it. I want to get into this, but I have a feeling I won’t be any good. Should I buy it?

I also suck at CS in any event, because I just don’t play so often and then get my ass served to me by the kiddies with better eye-finger coordination. Still, I bought CSGO, just because its from HPE, looks great and has the right feel…

Somehow I feel like CS:GO is more responsive, intuitive, and overall easier to play than the previous games without actually having been dumbed down. Yet at the same time it’s a real beefy game.

I like it.

Err… Still can’t decide, and now they are promoting it with TF2 weapons :stuck_out_tongue: .

If any of you want to play with/yell at someone who sucks at the game, I could use some playmates.

I find that at least in the time I played in the beta, if you played causal mode, there were a lot of people who sucked. I like this separation of hardcore and causal because it made it a lot easier for me to get into CS and feel the flow.

I’m doing alright with this on a damn laptop trackpad. Happy.
