…Why would they make a trailer when it recycles pretty much everything from the previous game?
Why are they so goddamn unoriginal? I swear I even heard the scream sound in the background from Prometheus…

Alien*
Also has no one figured out that that sound is just guitar feedback?
I’d sure like a .wav of it for use as a notification ringtone, whatever it is
I’ve seen people say that the sound used in the Prometheus trailers was the same sound used in Inception.
Then you can say to them it’s also the sound used in Alien
There’s the high pitch wailing, which is the guitar feedback, which is from the original Alien trailers.
Then there’s the foghorn-ish orchestral hit that’s been in every god damn trailer since before Inception.
The sound in Inception is actually the song that they play a few times in the movie, but slowed down a lot, which fits into the movie really well.

Just get a guitar bro to do one up for ya. Everyone has a guitar bro.

And there are rumours, that this is Psycho because it looks like Nanosuit 1, from part 1:
Whoever wrote the PC gamer article didn’t seem to enthusiastic about the game
Also, I do like the slimmer nanosuit look, the other design always seemed to “plump” to me.
I do hope it turns out good
I’m dying to find out what happened to Karl Rasch. What do you guys think?
A special nanosuit? Is he just in hibernation somewhere else, like Hargreave? Is it neither, and he’s found another way to stay alive?
Will he have any role in Crysis 3? Will he guide us around a bit? Hopefully, it won’t be a silent protagonist game (only Valve does it best) and Prophet will talk back to him.
I really hope it’s made clear what happened in the twenty years that have passed. Did the disease spread? Wasn’t a cure found or something at the end of Crysis 2? Wouldn’t Profit decide to return to Gould and figure it out so they could replicate it and distribute it all over the place? Wouldn’t this make it unlikely for the disease to spread?
World domination? Why would CELL want to control the world? It seems too stereotypical. I have a feeling that halfway through the game there will be a huge plot twist- there’s no way it’s that simple.
I liked the bulkier design. It looked like you could fit an actual guy in it and still have an inch or two of protection. The NS1 just looks like bodypaint on a guy with a muscular disorder.
But it’s still the same plump nanosuit from Crysis 2. The slim one from Crysis 1 was nice.
To quote someone from another forum:
That’s why the NS2 is less slim.
I know the explanation, I just don’t like how it looks
I see Crytek is carrying on the tradition of making their games the finest in graphics pornography. Crysis 2 had a great story arc holding it up. Crysis 1 had more open level design. Crysis 2 had more verticality due to the height differentiation from building to street to sewer. With any luck this game will combine all of these elements. It’s just a shame they had to recycle NYC to do it. Can’t we go somewhere else? What about Portugal? That would be interesting…
Nah, we have terrible graphics over here.
And also too many bricks.
How else would we make our houses?
