Fuck yeah. Contagious Swedish accent and Viking badass does CoF LP

Finally got my friend to play coop, and he says he doesn’t like it because it’s not scary, and like a “disturbing version of left 4 dead”

Maybe so far what we played wasn’t super scary, but we only barely got to [COLOR=‘Black’]the forest docks with the thing creatures

Though I will say coop doesn’t seem to be balanced well for 2 people despite the fact that there is more ammo.

Subbed

EDIT:

Fuck double post

Fuck yeah, got past what I was stuck at. But shit, the [COLOR=‘Black’]sawer was fucking hard.

The king of nipples is fuckin hilarious.

I am stuck at the part that require two fuse, I got the fuse from the subway I’ve being before. Now I need another one

Sht, wow, holy sht! Wow.

haha care to elaborate? was it the chainsaw chase or the pitch black blue halls?

Jesus fuck. It drags quite a bit at the part with the fuses, but picks up rapidly once you escape on the train. The forest afterwards
that was perfect. You walk into a field and find a lantern as the only light source in pitch darkness. you walk over to the lantern and from somewhere in the darkness THERES A MOTHERFUCKING CHAINSAW AND INTENSE CHASE MUSIC HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT WHAT DO I DO

FUCKIN RUN NIGGA

RUN, FOREST, RUN!

Guys, the game runs, but it freezes when I do certain things (mostly when opening the inventory) at which point I have to quit it. It’s been like the 4th time I’ve watched the intro and played up until the part where I get the suggestion of using the phone as a light source. However, I don’t really want to endlessly play the same part over and over without actually knowing when the next save point will be. Can someone give me a clue as to how far the first save point is?

It tells you to use light source, you go through a couple of doors, kill a nigger holding a hammer with your knife in a small doorway, then find a tape recorder on the ground. OR instead of being a curious fag and asking questions, you could watch a video to see when the save point comes up.

and not just any video, but an entertaining “let’s play” of Cry of Fear by a viking badass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsZ_fL4RCtE

The reason I didn’t watch a video is because I don’t really want spoilers. I just wanted to know if it’s worth trying to play it again or not, given that if the next save point was to be in 1 hour then it’s likely to crash a gazillion times before that ever happens.

Oh fucking jesus. These monsters are truely horrifying. [Spoilers]
[COLOR=‘Black’]When I saw the floating grudge thing in the basement, I shit 90,000 bricks. Also, the part after you put in the code to unlock the door, and you hear a chainsaw starting up, and about 50 different hallways = HOLYFUCKINGSHITRUNRUNWTFBBQ!
[Spoilers]

Definitely a very well done mod. I’m very impressed, especially for this being on the gold source engine. Although being scary, I’m sure I will thoroughly enjoy the campaign, and maybe eventually the coop. Not having played many mods this year, and probably won’t play very many others, I think this is easily my MOTY.

Anyone want to do a Source remake??

Joking.

^hehe i chuckled. Someone tried doing a PARANOIA source remake as well. fuckin trolls.

but speakign of Paranoia, if you enjoyed Cry of Fear, i would play that one too even tho CoF is graphically more enhanced and of higher quality. Para still looks good tho.

Link to moddb Paranoia page: https://www.moddb.com/mods/paranoia (watch the two vids. i especially enjoyed this mods release trailer.)

The graphics are jaw-dropping for GoldSrc. Film grain is a nice effect. I’m really hating the save system right now though.

I personally can’t stand film grain unless it’s so little it’s barely noticeable. Thank god you can turn it down in the options.
