Is there a huge considerable advantage to getting the i7-960 over the i7-930? I’d like more than anything to get the former, but it’s a bit out of my price range.
I’m also using my comp as an MC server, so I’m guessing the 960 might be necessary. =/

That’s not a choice I have. I gave you my two choices. Is the 960 really worth going over my budget?
Performance-wise, I don’t think the extra cost for the i7 960 compared to the 930 is justified. You’d be better off spending that money on some other components (probably RAM if you’re running a server), or getting a better cooler and overclocking the 930.
