I’m torn, it looks horrible but the gameplay looks interesting

JeffMOD speaks the truth

Agree, the weapon and player animation look suck, but the game play.
If it is a free online game…:jizz:

To me, CSS was just nostalgia-inducing, which is why I played it for so long, but there is only so many shots of nostalgia you can take before not giving a shit.

If they tried creating a CS2, it’s probably not going to top MW2, or BC2, and it would be strikingly similar to them. There not going to add more guns, because, as someone said before, more guns doesn’t mean a better game–look at MW2’s guns, which are all the same in multiplayer and it’s an unbalanced mess. A CS remake is bound to be released when Half-Life 3, after Episode 3, is released, which is a long time from now.

They’re never going to change Counter-Strike, because the fanboys would boycott, such as with that dynamic pricing idea, and all other ideas that were flushed away with rage. They’re never going to change Counter-Strike because it would tear the fans.

I understand Team Fortress 2 was changed and was massively different than TF1, but that was because TF2 is a game that hasn’t developed a solid competitor, yet. It’s hard to find another good multiplayer game like TF2, but very damn easy to find a game like CS, making it safer, for Valve, to change TF2. Any change they make for CSS will either be boycotted, accused of stealing ideas from MW2 or BC2, or victimized by MW2 and BC2 fanboys until CS becomes history.

Counter-strike 2 or whatever is already in the making and it even has videos. it’s called… “Tactical Intervention”.

I think its pretty obvious that after Portal 2, they won’t be making Counter-Strike 2. They will probably make Half Life 2:Episode 3

they have different internal teams working on different games. L4D team, and Portal team are different groups of devs, as is HL2

Portal 2, HL2 Ep3, new IP, L4D3…

my predictions.

Portal 2, [COLOR=‘Red’]apocalypse, [COLOR=‘DarkRed’]destruction of the earth.

my predictions

I would enjoy Cs2 if they got rid of the gay World of warcraft crap and all those stupid minigames inside cs. but id like to see a my M4a1 and Ak… only thing i used to use… O wait Scoutknivez!

I really doubt they’ll make a L4D3. The first two were good but a third would be boring and old, I wouldn’t buy it and I’m sure many others wouldn’t either. That’s not to say they won’t release some fun DLCs.

As for the two Counter Strikes, I’ve never played either of them, and don’t plan to. Nothing about the games seem appealing, and a third Counter Strike would be unoriginal and stale. But I guess I’m a little biased seeing as I haven’t played the games.

That’s the magic of user-made content: You don’t have to play it. If it says “Warcraft mod” or something of the likes on the server name, stay the fuck away.

I hope they give it to EA so they can ruin it like everything else

As if any counterstrike isn’t already one of the worst games I’ve ever played.

putt putt, Alf, Dracula, Every Atari jaguar game?

yoy put CS 1.6 and CS:S in the same caliber as those?

Pretty much. multiplayer only+shitty community=shitty game (yes, I’m a multiplayer hater).

If Cs2 Comes out then i has to be 5 times better

E.g
-Weapon Customization
-Uniform, Badge, Emblem Customization
E.t.c

Weapon customization doesn’t make a game a good game points at MW2. If CS 2 comes out I expect a complete overhaul to make it less shitty.

CS is good though, it’s really not that bad, and was the best multi-player experience for a while IMO. i think it got worse with each release though, the game was at first intended to be a tactical team based game, it quickly evolved into a arcade team deathmatch shooter though, thank god for mods spicing the game up though, that’s what added so many years to it’s lifespan.

Tactical Insertion is what the creator would have done with CS2, perhaps, if it’s good, Valve will make another Counter-Strike.

Truth be spoken!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
