Console vs. PC gaming

I wouldn’t call replying to your lame remarks an act of fanboyism. A 5970 is a decent choice for high performance this year, but it stutters, has scaling issues, needs ATi’s own specific driver profiles with new games releases, whereas the GTX480 only got a bit hot on air with the old BIOS and is significantly better at DX11, i.e. future proof. I wouldn’t recommend a GTX470 or lower and haven’t gotten a GTX480 either because it’s a bit of a joke to pay that much for an incomplete GPU. Hopefully Q4 will show us more hassle free products from either team.

I’ve always been an Nvidia fan, really, but as of late, ATi’s cards have kicked their asses. The only reason I wouldn’t get a GTX 480 is because of heat, size, and price. I don’t have that kind of money, or the money for a water kit so it doesn’t overheat. Hopefully they’ll come out with a more efficient cooler for it or something.
