ive baked my own bread and it definitely lasts longer than a week
There’s a lot less moisture in home-made bread on average cooking then say shelf Hovis.

There is a place on the Earth where bread stays fresh for years. Where licence plates are easy to recognize and every photograph has the location written on the back.
