Community Update

I think he means that there will be no posts as everyone will be playing the mod.

Damn! Hot Damn! I can’t wait to try it! I remember one of the times on the old forum where Raminator was almost teasing about a closed release, I almost came then and there :stuck_out_tongue: Seen so much throughout the years that this will become insane!

Thank you for pushing through this Ram! Send the regards to the rest of the team

How many connections can the website handle if there is only one single link displayed?

Black Mesa was in the news for British Broadcasting?

Congrats. i hope once the game is released, game companies all around will be shitting explosively over how good the game is.

Mfw this mod is better than 90% of most games professionally developed and sold

I like the soundtrack, really nice.

Omg I just shat my pants

I apologize ahead of time if this has already been asked/answered, I couldn’t find anything in the search. Just quote it, or link it if it has, thanks.

Anyways, is the “Xen” portion going to be a seperate exe? Or will you end up integrating it into one larger release down the road? I’m curious to see if the website’s theme changes as the developers focus on the xen portion.

probably they’ll release 2 separate exes, a part 1 & part 2

There won’t be any executables since this is a mod and not a standalone game.

We will have executable installers.

Every time I see the countdown i all ways finish the quote.

I’m sweating like a pedophile at recess, waiting for this mod. :aah:

I hope when BM releases they put underneath the timer with 00:00:00:00

And have that ^ link to the download.

+1 supporter.

Just wondering, will you have md5/crc32 checksums available for the downloads.
Also will there just be installers or will there be a more compact 7zip archive or something ?.

I shat bricks when I opened this up today. And not just any bricks. These bricks were
FUCKING.
MASSIVE.
BRICKS.

You guys better have some torrents for it along with direct downloads as it’ll probably be easier on servers.

I believe that they’ll be ready and have already explored those options.

You’ll forgive me if I don’t go out and celebrate quite yet as I remember almost 3 years ago, that’s right boys and girls, 3 freakin years ago, when this was supposedly coming out December 2009 and didn’t.

So, when I have this downloaded, installed, cranked up and am actually playing it I will believe it then, not until.

Good luck, Defender

P.S. When and if this game actually ever comes out, I will gladly eat my words and remove my quote from the alternate discussion in The Matrix.

I would bet you my entire steam games library that this will not be a repeat of 2009.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
