He is right
For me, Xen is pretty dull most of the time.

That is just the best thing.
In fact… Sig’d because great.

You beat me to it, but I think you won’t mind if I use it myself too

Anywhere between Six Months to Two Years.

Start with that.

Nope, not sleeping now.

this is fantastic news!

Awesome work, BMs Team! I can’t wait to try it out

Man oh man. 11 days of no sleep for me. I can’t wait!
Great Job BM Team!

I think I may have asked this before, but I don’t recall an answer.
To the dev team, was releasing without Xen more of being pressured, or was it more based on wanting to get this sucker out the door ASAP? Maybe a lil’ of both?

I would say it would probably be a combination of both crypt19
(quote button broke my iPad :3)

I’d say a little bit of both.

There was certainly rising pressure to prove that this was not vaporware and actually release something (the mod has been in a playable state for over 4 years now!) and there is certainly the urge to get something out the door to get the pressure off the devs and let them finish Zen in peace

Well done on the release, it was totally unexpected :stuck_out_tongue:

By the way, it seems to have been noticed even by BBC News

Great Murphy!
Just as I peep a bit for Episode 3 on the net, I get a freakin’ Wiki page about vaporwares that says, BM is being released. I’m all “wha? this must be an error or something, I definitely would have noticed it” surfs to BM site suddenly, a countdown O_O

Well well. It seems all these years of lurking has paid off.
Seriously though, congrats to the Dev team for sticking to it and making this happen. Remember that for every troll or hater that bitches/whines about a release date or something isn’t included or whatever, there are at least 100 players happy as hell to get what they got.

As for delaying the Xen chapters, I’d like everyone to consider the following; First, Xen is going to be that much better when done - far better than the original by the sounds of it and also, after you’ve gotten through the first part, you’ll be able to get back to your school/work/being a spouse|parent that you put off to sit and play BM all the way though.

And if that isn’t enough to quell your fury/frustration, remember this: It’s still a free mod that no one was paid to create. You’re lucky to get whatever you get.

Almost 4 Years Ago I bougth A 0,7l bottle of Jägermeister waiting to press “play” button. And all this time it was never opened. I can’t believe that this day will come. Few months ago I propably was bitching about relase date, for now I have to say “hey, it’s only 11 days?! It so fast…”.

So many changes during those years.
So many feelings.
So many excitings.

Thanks to everyone here.

Team, You’ve done great work.

This will be Your drink…

Where are you? It was September 2, on when you posted.O_o

There should have been an option on the soundtrack to purchase a lossless version with better/alternate artwork. It’s a shame with so much work thats gone into the soundtrack that you can only get a low encoded mp3’s with equally poor artwork.

It would make sense to put it up on Kickstarter and offer fans a physical copy, bonus tracks, demo’s, alternate versions etc. Maybe custom designed digi-packs, booklets and game art… I’ve seen other video game music artists take this route, Turrican being an example.
