You wanna know what my reaction was?
Well, I woke up in the morning of September 2nd, grabbed my smartphone, checked my stuff on facebook. Then I saw Black Mesa’s post. I was like “OMG, really?”
Then I checked out the message on the forums and saw the release date: September 14th. “Okay, this has got to be a dream, there’s no way BM is coming out on my birthday.”
Finally, after taking a shower, I realized it was not a dream and my reaction was pretty like M. Bison’s “YES! YES!”
I cant wait for that moment!!!

It’s been a long time since my last post on this forums. Well, sometime life get the best over our time, and priorities are what they are: priorities.
I would like to conglatulate the entire team for finally achieving this stage of the development: the release of the final product.
Personally, I believe it was for the best releasing the mod up to the Lambda Complex level, and leave Xen to launch an next time together with the deathmatch. For some reason, I think it’s going to show Xen more of a "world’ than just an "level’ of the game.
Ah, I guess that’s it. Never was good with things like this, but feel it needed to be said. Ah, thank you for making this project now possible for everyone to see your work. And please, before you start Xen, take a break to somewhere without computers - I guess you really need it.
On a final note: I believe there’s now the possibility of testing a new array of creatures on Xen - of course, if you believe it’s a good thing for the game. “Raising the Bar” seems a good book to read to get ideas.

I guess I’m right behind you; ~10:47 AM (local time) I start the download, when it’s done, I move it to my USB memory stick, and head home at 1:00 PM. Should be enough time, we only have two fiber lines where I work. 
(I work mornings 5 days a week right now, in an office, plenty of time to start a download/torrent in my down time.)

Forums got fucked up by bots, main site had a few staff changes and it is pretty much just a news site now.
Stopped checking for updates here years ago, then a month ago I started checking every other day to see if a release date would appear.
Lo and behold, it has. I wonder if I would’ve actually noticed it is coming out had I not started checking this website regularly.
Been waiting for this for so long. Just 1 more week now… I never doubted it would eventually come out. I even don’t care that it took so long.
Anyway, kudos to you developers.
I wish I had work/school to skip when this comes out.
