Command & Conquer (95/Gold Edition) Modified to work on Vista/7 x64 + extras

Hi guys,

Just though I´d post this in case anyone wants replay classic C&C but modified with several extras, here is the description:

Command & Conquer (95/Gold Edition)
Modified to work on Vista/7 x64 (will also work on XP)

Includes:

  • Original GDI & NOD Campaings
  • Covert Ops Expansion Pack
  • Extra Missions & Content released only on the PSX version
  • Reworked & Remastered Soundtrack and effects
  • High Res Pack (1280x768)
  • Community Made 1.06c Patch
  • Multiplayer Mode

Install Instructions:

There are 6 steps, each named indicating what you should do with them.
No need to use “compatibilty” options
Once all steps are done, run the executable.

Issues:

The image has a weird bug due to map size compared to resolution in the first 3 missions of each campaing, you can ignore it as it doesnt affect playibility.
FMVs display to the top left of the screen as the resolution is higuer than the videos.
If you experience weird colours other than the intro, just alt+tab to desktop and go back in or go in to a menu option (if you pause and alt+tab, when you go back the colours would be weird but fixed as soon as you un-pause.

Done by the good guys at digiex.

It´s tons of fun, enjoy!

drools

Sounds epic. :awesome:

It is, playing it now, loving it

I loved C&C, but I suck at RTS, so Meh.

Obviously my Korean blood ran off somewhere.

If it makes you feel better, the classic C&C is quite easier than modern rts due to basic AI : )

Still… Ah, fuck it, gonna dl it while I sleep.

that´s right, get your c&c on!

Awesome! Nice find.
I was 13 when this came out and was immediately hooked, funny to replay it nowadays with the inability to build more units at once
It used to drive my non-gaming father crazy when I played it in the living room with the constant annoying (not to me) EVA messages: “unable to comply building in progress… unit ready… unit ready… unable to comply building in progress”

Cool, trying later

Ps: Where is the next C&C game? It better be a Red Alert/Generals game

Nice  Gonna dl it

I’ll have to get around to playing a C&C game one of these days. I was always an Age of Empires kid, though…

Another great game working on win7 today?

I just got Civ II running on a 64-bit machine.

For Kane! KANE LIVES IN DEATH!!!

I can’t run 1280x768 patch.

Incorrect filesize. Cannot identify language. Press any key to continue.

But the game works on 1024x768 resolution.

Hmm weird, but yeah 1024x768 was included in the community patch as the original max res was 640x480.

Wait, THE FUCK?

THE OLD ASS GAME I PLAYED WHEN I WAS LIKE 6 WAS C&C 95?

WUT

Yeah pretty much, C&C 95 was actually a version of the game they released that would work on Windows 95 and 98, later they released the same version within the First Decade pack EA released that worked on XP. But originally, it was a DOS game,

Man, just played it, and I found out two things.

  1. I still suck at RTS.

  2. HOW DO I PLAY THIS AGAIN?

Well, it was still fun as hell, and the music was, like always, groovy. Mmhm. Thanks Luciel.

hahahaha anytime bud

(PS: Left click the shit out of it, cant go very wrong :stuck_out_tongue: )

You spam units. You spam them and spam them, until the map runs out of tiberium.
