So anyone else’s excited about it? Personally I’m a big fan of the series, although this time it should be names Ken Block: Dirt 2 seeing he’s everywhere in the videos, screenshots etc…

I’m very much looking forward to this. Normally I’m a bit picky about realism, but DiRT and GRID were both quality games, great fun. 'Thing I’m worried about is the whole vibe they’re giving to the game, does this whole festival thing(like motorstorm) mean that they might drop some of the group B cars? D:

Or just run the game on your PC at the same quality as the console by lowering the resolution. He could probably run the game like that. 
Sometimes, even 800x600 in windowed mode does not help.

Well, anyone else tried the console demo? I thought it rocked, the whole vibe of the game actually works pretty well, and it takes those fancy 3D menu’s from DiRT and GRID to a whole new level. The graphics are truly astounding, and the game play quite similar to the original, although I could swear they’ve made it a tad more realistic. The only thing I’m not fond of is the banter of the drivers during the race, corny catchphrases and one liners, etc.

I havn’t played it yet, but do you mean the co-drivers notes? Because they mean something.
They’ve expanded on what your co-driver says. They don’t just tell you what’s up ahead - they also comment on what just happened. I’ve heard the voice in a few videos - it’s kind of annoying. It’s also female.
Hopefully there are voice options.
