Codemasters' F1 2010

Not only that, it will feature tyre overheat if you try running wets or inters on dry track.
So it would be fun to see how you will be seeking for puddles so that your inters don’t blow up on drying track after rain stops.

P-Thunder @ It’s a big shame that you drive rFactor with keyboard. I would really suggest that you get a steeringwheel and pedals for your computer.

And, I did not say that I wanted F1 2010 to be like rFactor, I just said that rFactor 2 may be better than F1 2010

NoGrip mate, I asked about all your sexy GP4 screenshots

Oh i had a G25 mate, but i had to sell it, had a bit of a cash flow crises because of a rather large phone bill! Haha.

Siggs, ah yes I looked into my mailbox! Did you manage to update the game ?

P-Thunder, whoops mate! Hope you can get it together

Unfortunately not :brow: I got all the individual car’s/helmets/mods off of GrandPrixGames, but I ran into problems installing them, for the life of me I can’t remember what the problems were now. Thats’ the second time I’ve tried and failed with GP4, like I mentioned in my PM’s, its so much more complex than other titles to mod. Through my eyes, at least :S

I got as far as 1 car ingame, with the wrong wheelbase, etcetc. It was only the body model, and it was white :S I tried the complete 2006 installer tho, which seemed to work fine. I was just keen on the new seasons, which by the time they’ve been put into easier to manage installers, won’t be new anymore xD

EDIT:

ontopic, and on the subject of graphics…F12010 has :jizz:alicious graphics, but rFactor stands up pretty well imho, considering it has no fancy post processing. F1 2010 not being one of them, but lots of games overdo the colours or effects like motion blur, and despite the quality of everything else, it can be ruined. Despite looking good, Forza is SO OVERSATURATED in colour it’s stupid.

Excuse the track I’m on btw (Nurburgring GP), it’s a standard track, which isn’t great to look at, it wasn’t the best when rF was even released. The 2 overcast/rain shots are an addon version of Montreal 2008;

thing is, rFactor badly needs shaders.

I’d like to say rFactor isn’t about the graphics and is only focused on the simulation. But i’d be lying. We all know that we’d like to play something that makes you oggle at the effects, whilst still providing that realistic gameplay.

And no bugs like this:

oh and GREAT NEWS! I’ve finally beaten NFS Shift on matte panted Veyron.

HAHAHAHAHAHA… I’ve had Racekings Suzuka (that track) since it was first released, I’ve never done that…

…but, now I want to :fffuuu: Looks fun.

I did it on Bahrain in an F1 car. I hit the curb at a really funny angle and WHOSSHH

see, rFactor is poopid.

update that shiz ODB. The post processing has been tweaked to perfection in the new footage, fuckin’ A

Will we even get that post procession in the real game? And it’s not even set to full, mcLaren isn’t shining properly.
Haha, they use maya. Feggits.

Goodbye shaky-cam footage of journo’s playing on a gamepad, hello direct screen rip @720, decent driving, with a sensible amount of aids turned off

I’t all good, but textures seem to be very low-quality.

Luls at the glitch. I’m looking forward to this. I love F1 racing but didn’t enjoy the non-realism of looks. GT 3 did a good job back in the day for racing in general, but now this looks simply amazing.
