COD IN SPAAACE

We’ve always been fighting germans or undisclosed middle eastern country or aliens.

So the fact that they rehashed a game that sold to a bunch of kids proves…? Also I’d like to take into the account that it isn’t what you call “everyone”.

He was talking about humans, not 11 year old children that think they’re cool and shit.

No what I mean is that

Popularity =/= Quality

Unless of course he looooves today’s shitty music, High School Musical, and other such popular shit. If he does I will eat my words.

You stole the joke I was going to make. > :frowning:

they were in gaylo and COD.

or did something change in cod 6?

maybe this time we’ll get to mow down innocent civilians in a space station

I need your opinion about this bro
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlG8IDBMxe4&feature=sub

now imagine you could do that In-game

I would play it too

I see what you did there…

There were also aussies and mexicans in Halo, and i’m PRETTY SURE there were Russians and British and Canadians as good guys in CoD… well. the russians were good… Stalin was not…

but yeah… in the Halo universe… despite the setting of Halo2/3 being in africa… there is a suspicious lack of africans… and i’m pretty sure for the military force defending EARTH there should be a big mess of asians and eastern europeans in there… but eh… maybe America wiped them all out… And this whole talk of an ‘American Union’ isn’t just a crackpot conspiracy…

I think this might actually work if they pull off a really really good story e.g. something like Redfraction or better.

Battlefield Half-Duty:
Pripyat Fortress Faction

would be so much better than

Left 4 BioSpace 2:
Modern Ghost of Warcraft

Its in a part of africa where people are predominantly white and have a mixture of accents. easy but clever excuse for bungie, but also true for the real world.

I thought Modern Warfare was brilliant, as did appearantly most of the general public, if being popular lowers quality then nothing will ever being of amazing quality. the guy saying MW2 is crap is an idiot, he may not like the game himself but not liking a game does not make it crap. personally I can’t stand splinter cell, I still recognise that its good.

I disagree, generally the things that aren’t popular like music, movies, games etc tend to be of higher quality, as they aren’t dumbed down to cater to the lowest common denominator, or the general population. The number of units sold doesn’t necessarily define quality, despite if it’s popular or not. Look at Avatar (totally overhyped).Brilliant visuals, the best ever made to date. But everything else about it was poor, mainly the story. And yet it’s made billions and has a cult following. And then there’s probably some oddball cult film no ones heard of that didn’t have a multi-million dollar budget that has a quality story and ideas behind it, such as Moon by Duncan Jones.

But yet you call me an idiot, way to contradict yourself bro. And I never said popularity is bad, I’m just saying popularity is irrelevant when talking about quality.

That’s a dick move, what reaction do you expect from me?

Why would they get away with it? There’s nothing to get away with… Children are meant to be slaughtered. Fucking filthy parasitic monsters they are.

It’d become my favorite game.

AWESOME! :awesome:

How am I contradicting myself?
I was saying you are an idiot for stating a game is bad when clearly its good enough for many people to like and keep playing.
if you do recognise that its just an opinion thing then I’m sorry for calling you an idiot.
thanks for clearing up the popularity point.

I hate mainstream discussions. So what if lots of people enjoy music/game/film/tv? How does that make it worse, other than making yourslef less unique.

I don’t care how popular something is. I thought Avatar was great. Likewise, I thought Rocky Horror Picture Show was shit.
