can black mesa bring life to enemy soilders

That’s what I was saying too, but I called “cell” a “room”, because there are some that don’t have any doors so they aren’t much of a use as prison cells.

…then why would you have trouble defending them? It’s three turrets covering one small door.

I said I had trouble defending before I realized that hiding in a cell is a good tactic. Back on topic, while hiding in that room, soldiers continuously try to flank you out with grenades. And according to the weapon they use, they appear at different distances. Shotgun soldier comes directly around a corner and into the cell, while others tend to stay on the far end and peek from there. So, that part in Entanglement chapter is when I realized they are smarter than I thought before.

It seems smart, but then you see a shotgun soldier make a suicidal dash into the middle of the crossfire.

I liked the real Rayman better :expressionless:

Psh. The best strategy for that battle is to climb over a railing into one of the empty halls. I like the one above the exit.

I can’t believe that never occurred to me. D:

I got it from this fanfiction.
I found my own hideout, however- The room he uses isn’t worth the barricade needed to stop soldiers from swarming it.

what i did there… heh…
I brought ALL the turrets from the beginning up to that part. I had about 8 turrets in that part. I just watched. It was so fun.

PS: It’s not hard to bring all the turrets up to that part. Just use the “Zero-point gravity manipulator” and you’ll get there in no time.

I keep glancing at this thread and thinking it’s about whether Black Mesa can bring dead enemy soldiers back to life. :expressionless:

Shit me too!

You really think so? I always thought that part so easy :expressionless:

I just place a turret in front of each entrance (but only the 3 turrets, not 8 like the dude above) and I hardly have to do anything.

The area before that, however (that area were you are waiting for Alyx to come, and she says she will never leave you again after that), well, that one always got me into trouble.

Same. :expressionless:

Can they though, like as in scientists trying to revive them?

It’s relatively easy before they knock down your turrets, but it happens to me that they knock down all of them at once (or in several seconds), and there is so many soldiers that I don’t have time to pick up each turret but instead start shooting and running around. I haven’t tried playing recently, though.

That part was easy for me because I only have to watch two entrances, as opposed to four where they can attack me from behind.
Obviously, the hardness of a particular part depends on who is playing. Some things are challenging for some people, while easy for others, and vice-versa.

For the Gargantua soldier scene right at beginning of Power Up, i hope the garg can pick up the soldiers and throw them across the room into the walls, probably would be incredibly difficult and the devs probably havn’t done that, but it would be really cool.

already the second time i played that part i took all friendly turrets from nova prospect. in the teleporter chamber i go afk and let the turrets do their job,
it never failed

With what? Fucking stubs?

He could pick them with his second set of manipulators (which I assume are used for handling), toss him up, and then use his hands to bat them across the room.

If I was a garg and I shat flames out of my fists guess what I would do to my enemy. :expressionless:

So, are you suggesting the Garg has has character-interaction sequences, like Alyx?

:rabies:
