Call Of Duty 4 2

Due to popular demand, I have created a MW2 thread so you guys who are discussing how awesome the game is on a thread protesting the lack of dedicated servers can do so in ease.

Campaign-wise, the American levels were explosive fun, but the 141 levels often left you with few or no friends, who could not protect you from swarms of screaming communists. Still too short, and the story was underdeveloped, but it was fun from a gameplay perspective.

Spec-Ops mostly felt like time trial versions of all the levels, but the vehicle ones and the reduxs of COD4 were all fun.

On Multiplayer, the lack of dedicated servers is pretty bad, and I noticed several connection errors that were total BS. Gameplay wise, none of the weapons were as overpowered as I have thought they would have been, but some of the killstreaks (AC-130, PaveLow, and Harrier, to be exact) felt really unbalanced.

So all in all, I was pleasantly surprised. Good job IW.

Fuck yeah! This game is awesome!

I’m trying to get it cheap off eBay, I’m currently the highest bid at 20 bucks. I doubt it will remain that way until the auction ends, though.

I’ve hated every CoD after the first one, but this looks outstandingly fun as it is pricey.

This.

I did think that akimbo Rangers were a bit too much, if not hilarious.

hahahahahahahaha

This is the third MW 2 thread, I believe. Do we need it? Its not like people are going to post different comments.

I figured it was dumb to discuss the game in a thread protesting it and one sort-of protesting it. This is focused on the game entirely. It ends any confusion. It’s not like there aren’t tons of L4D2 threads.

And its not like I think there should be lots of L4D2 threads. Although there is only one active one. In any case, I see your point and will now leave this thread.

OMG GUYS THAT MISSION WITH THE AIRPORT? SOOOO CONTROVERSIAL.

DISCUSS :3

I felt like a monster.

Shot the crawlers.

Oh common, it’s a game! D:

Call me sick, but I dropped grenades in the paths of a few.

Aww shit, don’t lets this drift into a rehash of that other thread.

I just finished this epic game.

Sure, it was a bit too short, but it had so many epic moments, it didn’t really matter.

And yeah, “No Russian” made me feel terrible, but that means it was effective. My heart especially opened up when I saw people dragging each other away. It didn’t stop me from opening up as soon as I was allowed to, though.

I’m also on the fence about Ghost. Could he be Gaz? Let’s look at the facts:

  1. It appears Gaz was shot in the head, but it’s possible the bullet missed the brain and exploded his face.

  2. The skull mask could be to cover his horrendous injuries.

  3. Both technically inclined.

  4. Both have a sarcastic tone.

  5. Ghost could imply he came back from the dead (ie. Gaz)

  6. Same voice actor. He barely tried to make them sound different.

  7. BOTH EPICALLY AWESOME

Still, not too sure.

There’s sooooo much more I’d like to discuss, but I don’t know if we can spoil shit here.

I was thinking it was Gaz as well, but when they revieled the big twist in the middle with a certain character I realised they wouldn’t do it twice, plus with the ending it doesn’t seem right.

But it happens exactly the same way in the end.

Sgt. Foley was boss, if only for the voice actor.

I’m gunna be a party pooper and say that a 5 hour single player and multiplayer that plays just like the prequel does not justify spending $60 on this game… and I won’t even start on the lack of dedicated servers and modding. It was decent but not worth it.

MW2 sux!
Gameplay is not really balanced, No REAL Dedicated servers (over Console we can open servers but without a Serverlist this is so useless…)
No Modding Ability, IWNet, no Punkbuster, no kick/Ban, MW2 definitly SUX!

There’s a reason you’re a COCKroach.
