Brink

New shooter game with emphasis on character creation and detail. I think it looks badass, posting this for anyone who might be interested.

Pretty sure everyone knows about Brink, i’ll buy it.

They fucking stole my genius idea for an FPS. Seriously, I have posts on another forum from at least a year before Brink was publicly announced, talking about making pretty much the same game. ESP-havin Bastards.

Hell yeah… definately getting this!!!

No mac, no deal (for me).

Your loss.

I’m sure I’ll manage to survive without the kazillionth generic FPS that promises the world, but ends up giving you Africa.

What the hell, I never got Africa!!!

I did, many moons ago. I played with it until it stopped working and the fun was all gone, then I stopped caring and just left it alone.

Looks pretty cool. I’ll probably end up getting it. Hopefully I’ll have a halfway decent PC by this time.

pffft Africa. Asia is what you want, 7 extra men at the the beginning of every go.

My policy is usually the same: Wait until it comes out, see what disappointments lurk up after week 1, then consider buying.

Basically you never play games.

Too hard to defend though.

Yeah. PC is full of original interesting Fps. But I suppose Mac users and Console gamers don’t get to play most of them.

Nowadays console users usually do, and sometimes PC users don’t.

When?

Halo: Reach is the one I can think of right away.

Edit: Killzone 2 I don’t think was released on the PC.

Have you been living under a rock or something for the last 5 years?

Nope. I am a console owner. Nobody obviously read my post correctly, I said original and interesting. The only console game like this I can think of is Metro 2033 and that was also on pc.

By the way this isn’t meant to be an omg consoles suck post. Consoles have lots of original and interesting games. It’s just no fps’s come to mind. Actually, The Darkness.
