- Black Mesa hasn’t been “pitched, promised [or] hyped” for 2010.
- Its release date didn’t “slip from 2009 to 2010.”
- It has always resided “in the all-too-familiar ‘done when it’s done’ category”, except between when they announced the 2009 release date and when they announced that they couldn’t make the 2009 release date.
- It has not “been in development for more than seven years.”
- It hasn’t “been almost seven months since any media’s been released.”
Conclusion: the article sucks.
I think they should be honored being mentioned on a list among large payed companies.

Agreed. I mean they’re being mention in the same breath as Valve, the originators of the thing they’re recreating. I think that’s pretty awesome.

I’ glad - def wasn’t posting as a BM=DNF post, just showing that someone at wired (2 years running) is still watching. Makes you wonder what they’ll run (and maybe on paper in stores??) when BM releases later.
If wired and Gameinformer talk about BM even once after release, I hope to god they link torrents and not a BM server download, cause it.will.crash.

Well hl2 was a complete sequel to hl1, and ep2 not even being a full fledged sequel that’s what they’re trying to get at. The episodes are taking about as long as a full game.
