Haha, I remember seeing this awhile ago, I guess even Wired is excited for the mod. Just a heads up though I think people know about this already
No, they just made to 2009 list too…
Vaporware 2009:Inhale the Fail
2010 list came out today, hence the inclusion of Chrome OS and the Spiderman Opera.

Conclusion: the article sucks.
I think they should be honored being mentioned on a list among large payed companies.
Oops, just realized it was new. Funny that it’s still on there I guess.
Agreed. I mean they’re being mention in the same breath as Valve, the originators of the thing they’re recreating. I think that’s pretty awesome.
It pretty much shows how big this mod will be when it’s released.
BM:S has become the next Duke, deal with it
Really? Omg, awesome So it’s gonna be released this year!
Exactly, the article is crap!
This is basically how the dev team sees it.
Awesome.
And Burbinator… cmon, really?
I’ glad - def wasn’t posting as a BM=DNF post, just showing that someone at wired (2 years running) is still watching. Makes you wonder what they’ll run (and maybe on paper in stores??) when BM releases later.
If wired and Gameinformer talk about BM even once after release, I hope to god they link torrents and not a BM server download, cause it.will.crash.
Val
Bittorrents will crash.
Dude, the internet will crash.
half life - 1998
half life 2 - 2004
2004-1998 = 6
ep2 - 2007
2011-2007 = 4
fuckin math, how does it work?
Well hl2 was a complete sequel to hl1, and ep2 not even being a full fledged sequel that’s what they’re trying to get at. The episodes are taking about as long as a full game.
the internet might crash, but torrents only crash when there’s not enough seeds
whoever made this list is a heretic.
like that time you got mentioned by one of those rare BBC articles on gaming.
anyone still got a link for that?
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
