TElpotaishn iz inda mod.
I met RabidMonkey, NuclearDan, Kalashnikov, James Kane, and a couple others and I’m fine… for the most part…
Or you’re a clone of Rossman created to hide his disappearance.
Shhh!! Don’t reveal the secrets of being a moderator!
Oh sh:zip:
Anyone from Florida willing to meet up?
lol bscly
Weird, I’m the opposite. I shut down in group situations, too many people to read. >_>
I’m not too good at holding up my end of the conversation to be honest. I find myself being quiet and letting the other person talk…and I can only seem to respond with mm-hmms or yeahs and not really contributing much. In larger groups, I can stay fairly quiet and, if there’s something I want to add, I can wait for a lull in the conversations to add it, but if the conversation drifts away before I have a chance to say it, oh well. I like listening. I don’t like talking.
Online, it’s fine because I can formulate a response before posting and I’m not expected to have something snappy. If I do try to speak, I stumble over my words unless I am very knowledgeable about a subject or very passionate about it…but otherwise, Porky Pig would tell me to do something about it.
Good thing I’m the only BMer in NC.
I could swear there was another BMer in Wisconsin.
From the top of my head: Solokiller, Bolteh, Lord Grievous, Madmixer, Conlaen, you and me.
Looking at how well the English in our posts is, I bet we’re all from the Flemish part
I’m from West-Flanders btw.
Belgium is a pretty good place for a European meet-up, halfway between Germany, England, France and other countries.
True that, not to mention we could all have a great Belgian beer while eating our beloved French fries (with mayonaise)
But on the downside it’s Belgium.
Beer…check
French Fries…check
Mayonaise…does not compute. Please explain
I could eat Miracle Whip out of the jar.
Though with french fries? I will have to test this before I comment. (I suspect traditional mayonnaise would be better for that.)
EDIT: But Gravy and cheese now, seriously Belgium. All the cool countries eat their fries with Gravy and Cheese.
EDIT: EDIT: Oh right, topic. Anyone in B.C. want to go out for some poutine?
I’m sure there are people around here in the NY Metropolitan area… preferably Long Island, no?
Also true
It tastes good, try it. Mayonaise or ketchup is kinda the first choice of sauce for fries here.
I don’t know Miracle Whip but traditional egg-made-mayonaise is very good with fries.
Gravy and cheese? Hm, never said we were cool, lol.
Ha, exactly the same thing here - My most-uttered word in RL is a sound like “Hm…” Not even a word, just a sound Though, in recent months, I have become slightly less awkward. I’ve been making a conscious effort to use words and sentences rather than murmurs.
Anyway, meetup sounds fun, but I doubt there are many/any Oregonians here. Oregon just doesn’t seem to be a nerd-filled place, sadly.
