Black Mesa is released!

AFAIK, you don’t know anything.

I swear that if I had been the creator of the mod, I would have really serious as Half-Life!.
but damn, I have that knowledge to create mods!!,
I am a true fan of the Half-Life saga and want everything to be coherent!. I’ve seen videos of youtube on the game, since my PC can not run the game because of my graphics card, the levels are not faithful to Half-Life, and as mentioned in previous comments, the aim points, objects at every level, some weapons, flashlight … and without mentioning the sounds of rechargers, the gluon gun, the tau cannon, and some sounds but do not have to do with the original series, unless bursts HL2, the sounds of doors and other sounds from HL2. as I said before I’m not forcing, just make them open their eyes to the reality of how it should really be the game. My excitement was in vain, after I saw those imperfections, but no offense the creators of the mod, and I say this with a serious tone, but do not bother, I’m just a Peruvian who translates these words into the google translator, and they want things to make sense.

sorry for the part of “serious as Half-Life!” I think this should be wrong “would be in as Half-Life!”

though on the other hand, I hope they release the mod “guard duty” and “Operation Black Mesa” and I do not find incidents like black table.

greetings.

ok, you are really complaining about how Black Mesa isn’t a 1:1 remake of Half Life?

oh, boy, here we go again…

you guessed right!, but only questioned the things that should be changed to make it consistent with the history of half-life, only suggestions, I am not forcing them to change things in the game, well if I’m criticizing the game but is only approaching more to the original story of HL1, and not only I, but many fans of this game, I hope you understand me and do not get me wrong.

well, you can change these things yourself, don’t expect the 8 year old team that build the mod with almost 100% original stuff to use the old sound effects and stuff like that
that would be offensive to them

Would like to say as a person who played the original HL1 when it came out I am amazed at what has been done to revive this classic game and breath new life into it… Congratulations to the Team… can’t wait to see what comes next.

As for kakarotto102… it’s a REMAKE!!! not the original… and as with all remakes,it’s subject to the teams discretion of what they perceive and think needs to be changed or updated… and as far as the consistency of the history of HL … well it’s damn perfect… Also… if you don’t like it … stop complaining about it and make your own.

Sounds like someone is living like a windrammer.

I give up, apparently there is no going back.
You say that I am very demanding and it is true, but it is to be more loyal to the game. :[ :’(

but only some things I like such as models, some new sounds added, only some :expressionless:

Black Mesa is about as loyal to Half-Life as Half-Life 2 is.

not mean to offend nor harming anyone

but after all it was an excellent project, and I’m proud

I don’t know about the rest of the people here, but I’m not offended
however I do think that your demands can’t be achieved at this moment of release and if you are willing, you can make some sound changes to it, still not cool to the devs, who made everything from ground up, but whatever, there’s probably some of the things you want already out there, you just going to have to look for it

I remember myself getting really hype back in 1997 playing Half-Life Demos (Uplink/Day One)
I followed the series since then, and i am really a huge fan. Black Mesa is awesome, and, for a few guys who spent 4 years making this free remake, they’re like gods. I almost cried when i saw how accurately the BMS team remaked the maps, the npcs, the scenes… oh the nostalgia.
So you should go, get a computer, enjoy the game and shut up.

I agree. :freeman:

Is the release of the game not good enough for you? I’m guessing that it’s easy to overlook the fact that the team spent 8 fucking years working on this thing, working and reworking almost every texture, model, sound, song, and map to meet their specifications, not yours, or mine, or most of the people that have played it. They made the game the way they wanted it, which is completely perfect. Now repeat the final step from Afterlife’s post, and have a wonderful day. Now you is no longer be complaining.

no longer interests me, I no longer want keep writing more, it is in vain, you seem to that are not true followers if you say that if are, I can not change my mind!, but hey … ahhhhh. it taken lightly all this, and want to do the mod and go!

I can not fight a battle I can not win.
is lose my time.

is certainly not enough for me :meh:

moreover, respect the effort, and the years they spent playing the game.

that’s enough for you!, say the latest, I respect the work and the effort needs, that they had to sweat blood with each map, model, script and other components created!

they most want, I will be silent, the hell out!

-excuse my language, but I make them understand that I have nothing against anyone, I just want to clarify things.

Kakarotto, please do not double post. I merged your posts two times.

Use the button instead.
