Will refreshing my port address get rid of all the progress I’ve made thus far? I’m on Utorrent.
It’s done, It’s out but, I’m the battle is far from over seeing it was just greenlit. I’m downloading at 1mbps atm and seeding.
I’m seeding and patiently waiting for it to be installed.

i have download the game, installed the source code via steam but i can’t launch the game. plz is there an idiot’s guide on how to run the game? i have located the installation folder but there is no exe file there
Is there any knowledge of when the Steam release is?!
either options/prefs/connection/random port
or just close programme and re-open in 30secs
Installation Guide:
- Download the Steam.
- Download the Source SDK 2007 Steam.
- Download the Black Mesa: Source
After downloading the mod folder set it “\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods”. Restart Steam (if it is running, of course) then the mod will appear in your library.
What a pain. I’ve got a 20MB/s connection speed and pretty much ever link for me is broken or has a >10 hour wait.

I can’t play it yet moving to a new flat and giving my Mum a send off to her move to Tenerife(Damn life obligations! Ha!), can’t play it in peace until Thursday. I’ll download it via torrent, should be done by Thursday and when all’s calmed down, I’ll be enjoying the Black Mesa Teams work in peace.
Well done on the release BMT, even if it doesn’t have the Xen chapters, always believed you’d get it done. I’ve been patiently watching this mod since the 2005 PC Gamer UK article and never lost hope, if I believed in hope.
I think it shows that with community spirit and even a ‘no budget’, this’ll show Movie wankers like Ebert what games, as a young artform, can do.

how do i set the folder \Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\ after restarting steam i still can’t see it i only see source sdk 2007 and 2006 installed
