Black Mesa is released!

No screenshots? No video capture? You suck…

I love you guys  thanks so much

Have not time for this, just grabed a bite, short peek at the forum and back to BlackMesa!

I have installed the game but I dont know how to start it. Can someone please tell where there .exe file is? I cant start the game without it ? Please answer. Thank you!

Huzzah!

Did you install it on a drive other than C: ? Look on your C: drive if so.

I’ve just resisted for a while and stopped playing to post here something. Reaching Test Chabmer, listened all the voice acting and disturbed everything //where’s the damn light-switch to disturb a scientist ? Well I can say for now only “YAAAYYYYYAYAYAYAAAAAAYAYAAAA” it’s simlply above the “HL2” quality (at least I can feel it from the begining. I think theese guys with the greatests developer leaders achived something ultramegaspecial. I need to continue, but the biggest THANKS has to be told! Thank you so much to everybody involved in this project! I can feel like I was about 7 (years old) again and it’s just hillarious feelings ;o) EDIT …counting, actually I was 19 years old when Valve released HL1, but the “7 years old - happiness” was the same ;o)

I have installed it on another drive but at first I did not have the source sdk 2007. And now I have installed the source sdk, but I dont know how to start the game. Please What can I do?

Thank you.

Torrents blocked in my university and downloads go at 30KB/s :frowning:

as I’m waiting ( currently on 75% d/l bitorrent ) was curious to know
who I’m exchanging most of my bandwidth with ;
so on a geo-location search my top 2 are in the UK near me ,
using BT broadband as myself; one in sidcup the other in shankill ( within 100 miles )
so its interesting to see how the torrents are seeded out per location

Another bit of useless info:

I have so so many Fins, Swedes and Norwegians as peers,
it shows you how popular the game is in Scandinavia –

I guess not much else to do in them countries other
than blow yer mind with first person shooters

edit: 79% now- just thought I’d tell ya

He(i)res some from the very begining

…but the steam picture loading times are…$#^&@^up!

I still expect to launch this and get rickrolled.

I’m only at 11% :frowning:

None of the mirrors download faster than 50kbps for me. Looks like I’ll have to wait until Sunday to play it, or wait for the Steam Release.

Saddest fucking face ever

I’m seeding as much as I can ;o) Currently uploaded about 98GB - Share ratio: 30.08

Used “Vuze” torrent downloader for the first time…

you can try , if its a torrent:

  1. refresh your port address
  2. refresh IP

sometimes you get lucky and another seeder/peer
locks onto you with >1Mb/sec- and you’re in business

sadly most ISP’s cap d/load rates at peak hours

good luck

I gave up on the mirrors

Get on Bitorrent or Utorrent asap

It’s ok. Found another unlisted mirror. 7% in 5 mins. Yay me.

Ha! This.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
