Black Mesa is released!

It changes nothing for Black Mesa.
Don’t search for the SDK 2007 Base on Steam. Go to you Steam Library > tools tab and it’ll be in there.

thanks man o/

this mod looks awesome anyway. I was playing HL1 for the old days, when I remembered about this mod. it’s pretty cool to know that already is released after so long, i remember to check the site a few years ago in search for updates…well, now im gonna blown my mind and have some orgasmic moments, thanks and bye.

I suggest BM team charges the BM Multiplayer game for 5 or 10 dollars. You deserver to get some financial payments.

Why didn’t anybody post an update on Source SDK 2013 running Black Mesa Mod?

This will be my first time to play Half-Life series starting from the very beginning. That’s because I’ve been waiting for this Mod for so long since I heard about it in 2011.

Now as I’m about to start downloading it via Steam I heard about the 2013 single-player version of Source Engine. So… did anybody test it? Does it work without problems, or should I stick to 2007 version?

Even if they wanted to they are not allowed to.
Also they said all the money goes to charity.

no, they said you should donate to charity whatever you’d donate to bm

Any news about Xen?

nope

Stick to the 2007 base, the 2013 base won’t have the content that BM has to mount.

And just as a clarification, you mean download just the SDK base, right? Because BM isn’t on steam yet.

I was about to say something to that effect. I regularly check the Greenlight pages to see if they’ve released it. Sadly this is not the case.

There wasn’t a need to post anything since it didn’t affect the game in any way. If plays perfectly. I’ve already been though the game several times so far, even posted a bunch of excellent desktop imagery and anaglyphic 3D versions of most over in my moddb.com image gallery. You won’t have any issues as long as you graphics card is strong enough and your drivers are up-to-date.

I’m downloading a torrent of blackmesa, still wondering why it is so hard to find a URL to the torrent here? Lets hope the torrent isn’t some infected crapola pretending to be blackmesa.

You could have checked the downloads page on this site as well as ModDB, both have an easy to find and download torrent file.

This is the official torrent.

Came to the forum, saw new posts in a thread called “Black Mesa is Released!”, got super excited for a couple of seconds.
God dammit, it’s a necro thread.

Good luck dev team, we’re all counting on you.

LOL…I remember being with a girl like that. Now, I’m lucky enough to have a wife that doesn’t mind me gaming on my laptop in the same room. She watches her shows: I put on the cans, and fire up the games!

Exact same thing happened to me when the dude below me necro’d it. Can a moderator please lock this thread so nobody gets false-alarmed?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
