Comments?

Deja vu?

Anyone still have the other ones from back then?

Wow, actually. That looks like top-notch work there. Do you have a .psd or a template that you used for the covers? I’d like to try taking a crack at it myself. The only changes I would make are that I would change the single screenshot of the first to the screenshot-filmstrip of the second. I like the zombie hanging on the edge, and I like the front cover as well. The cover of the second makes Gordon seem weaker to me.

On the first one, the “Normal, Specular and Paralax mapping…” seems like an usual comment to make on a DVD cover. And you mention Co-Op and DM play modes, even though it seems highly unlikely we’ll be getting those in the first incarnation of the release. Other than that, they look bloody impressive.

Thats Incredible, i would so Love a Printout for a DVD Cover please, especially the First one.

Nice, but there’s a spelling mistake on the first one, you wrote the’re instead of they’re. Could you please fix this, it’s one of the best dvd sleeves I’ve seen here

Very nice man, I like the first one especially
.

crikey, bonza work mate

Huh?

Well if you mean this: https://lpfstuff.webs.com/DVDTemplate.jpg then yeah. And I trimmed off the grey area on mine. Otherwise everything is from scratch. (And I dont give out my .PSDs, lol)

Haha, yeah, it was just grabbed from the features listed on the site. If the devs wanna pull me aside and be like, hey, heres some legit info to put on there, then Ill be more than happy to spiff it up, but until then it doesnt really bother me much. And as far as Co-Op and DM, maybe Im just being optimistic… and they will probably still come later anyway, whether legit or 4th party. lmao

Oh damnnn, these are like a year and a half old and youre the first person to ever notice that. How embarassing… Thanks! Fixed! :freeman:

And thanks to everyone else to just simply liked em! haha

Okay, thanks.

I’m pretty sure you’ve posted them ages ago.

Of all the community projects (official and unofficial) this was the one that I enjoyed the most. I personally would love to see more work from the peanut gallery.

Ummmm, yeah… hence my saying…

You completely miss that or something? :o

Awesome. I love the second one.

Hmm… looks like it. I guess I only noticed the pics >___>

<___<

I agree with this.
The second one would be my favorite by far if it had a different cover picture.

I just noticed that the “Black Mesa Team” Doesn’t really have a name really other than that. The Black Mesa Team. I don’t see any recognition to the team on the covers anywhere. Just curious if they should have their own logo or something like Valve does that could be put on the back or front in a corner or something.
I know they aren’t going to work on other things together in the future, but it would be nice to give them a name on the sleeve. Otherwise its tempting to say “just some modder.”

Great, i like both of them.

I completely agree with this. After all, the Facepunch Forums logo used to be the logo for the group of modders Garry worked with while he was making Facewound. Just because you won’t use it forever doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have some recognizable symbol for the group.

cool covers

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
