Oh man!

The second the game comes out I am placing it on DVD, then printing one of these covers it out, placing it in a case and placing it on my shelf! :smiley:

BTW would be a great way to introduce your friends to the game

Very nice! One tip though… The text at the back in the text frame is hyphenated at two places. Try to prevent that. It makes the text look so much better.

Great work Unhinged, I remember those two topping off an otherwise excellent thread.

There was also some guy (named Swede or Swedish-something?) who’d made a Half-Life 1 style sleeve with a matching DVD. Rusty style done really well, and looked awesome, but I saved the images onto my home computer which I can’t get to atm. Anyone know who it was/has a copy?

I’m surprised this kind of unofficial community project hasn’t taken off earlier… I would help, but my NC10 can’t really run CS4 :frowning:

I guess the VALVe symbol is there since the mod is run off VALVe’s engine, uses VALVe’s original game ideas etc.

It took me sometime to pull out the old cover that was in there and to get the new one in without bending it so idk if im gonna do the other one.

Shouldn’t have been all that hard. all you have to do is open the case, invert it slightly, and the sleeve should almost fall out on its own.

Call me stupid but for some reason I am wondering if it is a bad idea to put Gordon on the front. Only cuz some folks would confuse the cover for the original hl game. Of course the only time this would actually matter is if this went viral enough to actually have the game in stores. Which isn’t gonna happen.

I dunno. Is it just me that thinks the cover should exclude Gordon?
