I have a question for you. Why did you choose to make the tunnels for the train cars circular? I can’ remember if it was like this in the original, but honestly that wouldn’t make much sense even if it was. Imagine having to ship something that’s bigger than the tunnel entrance. An FRS mounted on one of those flatbeds would probably not fit. I don’t know, food for thought.
We only need to feel the atmosphere of Black Mesa.
It has to look like we ‘noclip’ out of Black Mesa and follow the course of Blue Shift…
Most of them have circular or arched designs.
They are arches now though so dw.

Arches are a good compromise, though.

I’ve done more reading of this thread and think this is absolutely fantastic work especially considering that there are so few people working on this. Two things I didn’t like about blue shift are the xen parts and the short length of the game.
i think it’s good where the games crossover. In the original half life you see Barney Calhoun near the beginning. He’s not able to get in due to a problem with the door. In blue shift you see Gordon Freeman in a tram and later on camera walking to get his HEV suit and a third time when he’s being dragged by two HECU marines. In opposing force you see the outside part where Gordon has to get by the marines and the helicopter and later Adrian Shepherd goes through a part where Gordon was earlier while still in the tram.
Will there be any parts in this where you visit or see somewhere where Gordon or Adrian have been?
I have a few suggestions if you want any.
Is that actually relevant? Seems like a big slap in the face to Skyms/Zero to respond to his compliments with that.
