I have a question, Blue Shift didn’t have any friendly security guards because it wasn’t possible to take their armour when they died, and that didn’t make sense. Since security officers in BM may appear without their vests or helmets, will friendly security guards appear anywhere?

Awesome. His voice is pretty much engraved in my head. When I was younger me and my brother would play Decay (on the PS2), only we’d get stuck forever and constantly have to hear him at the beginning of the second level. Hopefully you can do that otic-scarring some justice.

I don’t think it should be too difficult to take (or make, depending on the circumstance) a security vest model and give it the same attributes as an HEV battery.

We have already done that. We just have to get creative with how the vests are found :3

I brought that up before, but didn’t get an answer. I’ll just link it rather than quote myself. I’m genuinely interested in wehther or not that’ll work or if I’m just spouting bullshit without realising it :fffuuu:

We have discussed that option and decided against it, we have found a new story driven way to deliver the armour pickups.

How about the security training course? Can you make the design a bit different from the current WiP Black Mesa: Hazard Course? It is to say that it is a different building or layout but still same purpose.

We won’t be doing the hazard course. Same as Black Mesa, learning mechanics will be done during the game.

Maybe the mod will stop temporarily when Barney enters the portal to Xen like Black Mesa until Xen releases.

No, Kevin Sisk did the guard voices. Blue Shift’s training was done by a guard instead of Gina.

By that stage i’m almost certain Xen will have already been released.
