Black Mesa: Blueshift

For a first try, it’s not bad! We need to do something about that voice, though…:fffuuu:

EDIT: Hmm…actually, while new voicework by the BM voice actors would be nice, the old voice isn’t actually as low quality-sounding as I first thought.

Looks good thus far, but indeed those voice was of those old scientist.

Not bad, but I see the hand basicilly suddenly goes down.

Yeah don’t worry, i’ve fixed that  haha

I really thought u were death skyms2663 :’(

I have an idea for the computer area, you can add scientist/security guard typing on other functioning computer, maybe make it into a Computer Lab and Barney can observe it from either the glass wall outside or inside.

I shall try and implement that idea  thanks!

also redoing the first tram section, i’m unhappy with the previous. This version stays true to the original, but is expanded and from an hours work is already starting to shape up i think!

Can you show a video of the new tram section?

Looking forward to the next media update!

Uh, is he not already giving media updates?

I mean not in the Editor, but actually the remade Tram sequence.

Nitpicker!

Ha, i’ll post a video of it once I’m finished, or at least more or less finished.

Also funny thing, never did i think once starting this project that every other day i’d be getting comments and emails demanding that I hand over my maps to them for testing or for their own mod or even to demand that it’s my duty to them to finish it and to not be dead… haha what.

I feel Black Mesa’s pain, even though I can imagine it was considerably a lot worse for them.

Those are mostly idiots who just want to get their hands on it, because they hate waiting for Guard Duty.

If they at least applied as something really usefull
I feel your pain and I know what it is like… And trust me, it will probably get even worse !

If that already drives you nuts, I don’t recommend working at Valve :stuck_out_tongue: .

It really is good to see something with visual progress, other than just screenshots of useless non-gameplay, like guard duty or Operation : Black mesa. Really I think this will go somewhere.

Few new shots:

This is the new entrance into the facility, as you can see though I still have a lot to do.

Early overview of the outdoor inbound section.

Loooking extremly good

Wow! Looks like an actual place!

Looking damn sexy, keep it up!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
