Black Mesa: Blueshift

You have a voice actor? Which character does he voice?

All of them.

Pretty much haha.

Any chance you could add this link to the first post?

done.

reworked the lobby a while ago, thought i’d share since I’m going away for a few days so won’t have any major progress to show until the end of next week.

Oh and have this quick shot too  it’s a bit old and there’s not as many lighting issues and there’s a bit more detail but I don’t have time to go and grab a new shot haha ya’ll can try to guess where it is!

Cool! Really awesome!

HOW LONG WAS I AWAY?

Duty Calls!

I just noticed he changed the armor symbol from a person to a shield. Very nice.

The lobby looks really good, though. It’s a large, open space but it’s not TOO large like some more amateur mappers tend to make their rooms.

Can’t wait to play this

It’s all looking really good so far! Can’t wait to see where you take this!

Just want to let you know though that the floor behind the desk has misaligned textures. Be sure you do something about that.

I did a whole Blind LP of Blue Shift. I think I’ll do the same when this is out.
For anyone who is interested or just wants to hear a fourteen year old trying to talk but the volume on his mic is too low:

Looks extremely good.If you want to get rid off the disaster scientists, you need to put an env_global in your map and set its state to predisaster.
Or you need to edit the character manifest, and give every NPC an unique name.

I think it is not misaligned. It is a step, that’s why the floor texture seems to have an offset in the middle, in case you were talking about that. You can see it at the side, that it is a step.

Huh, you’re absolutely right about that. I guess I didn’t look close enough. Thanks!

I have an env_global, just haven’t gotten around to giving them non-disaster names lol

To be fair, I thought is was misaligned at first too.

Looks great Skyms! I really like the look of the second shot.
Is the lobby as big as it looks? It feels a bit large and empty.

It’s just the angle, it is not very big
