Could anyone -HELP- me?
I am here to ask if anybody knows how to obtain
a voice synthesis, vox or whatever to enable me
to say type ‘hello’ into a box and for Black Mesa
announcement system to voice the announcement!

No.
using GCFscape you can enter the half life GCF files, and extract the voice files
there’s a console command for that. But that’s ingame and has limited vocabulary.

And you are the only person to hear it. For example, you can put it in the console “fire” while playing TFC, but only you would hear it. Your teammates would not.
(I found this out the hard way many many years ago)
You go into the game, into the console, maybe enable cheats, and type “speak” without quotes, followed by whatever you want it to say in quotes. If you want to use it out of the game, I guess you’ll have to go through all the words and record them with a sound grabbing application or something.
When i saw this on the home page i thought it was Black Mesa Announcement!

Yea well i really wanted to get the VOX thing worked out but lost interest due to lack of success… Working now though and yes I want a medal, a medal for my inconsistent effort to hunt down a dream of mine.
