Black Mesa Animation Revamp Project(by IIopn)

Well, no offense to whoever made them, but they are rather poorly done (revolver, M4, shotgun and new grenade) compared to the unchanged ones, mostly because borders are too thin.

The icons don’t really fit in with the defaults, no, but they’re not necessarily bad. The included rimlighting is subtly pretty good.

New update arrived on Gamebanana. Let’s see it says:
"6 Jul 2013 - w_models fixes
w_shotgun has been re-align
Increase the accuracy for the w_pistol
"

Don’t hear reload sounds!

Here’s some alternate sounds for the beretta/glock if anyone wants them

Anyone knows how to make the HUD addon work?

All you need to do is to extract Acoma’s HUD addon to your sourcemods folder.

I did so, I think. Perhaps it works. I installed it along with the animation revamp, tbh.
So the sillier question is that what does this hud addon do? - only revamping the weapon selection, or restoring the health and armor bars to HL 1 style, as I heard?

It replaces the icons for .357, mp5, and pistol so they match

Oh, ok. Thanks. Well, I like the way things work and look like now. These addons are awesome.

That and the materials files were edited to make the revamp models have the vanilla rimlight to match the default weapons.

Thanks!

I wonder why he didn’t fix this!

the animation is great but a bit too much faster, and this look’s like the same animation of call of duty for some reason lol. but yeah must be harder to do this nice anim, did he use 3ds max ? or motion capture with it ? someone know ?.

He used 3DS Max.

How to contact him personally?

Thanks!
