Ok, I don’t know how many times you guys were asked this, But will you uuse the HL ai? The combine from HL2 were poultry, unsatisfying to fight.(It is still a good game though) Will you use the combine ai or emulate the HL soliders.
They’re not using the HL1 AI, how could they? HL1 uses the GoldScr engine while BMS uses the Source engine. They will however, improve upon the HL2 AI so I think it’s safe to say that it’ll be more like HL1 
If all goes well, we should fights enemies that are smarter than they were in HL1.
Yeah they’re pretty much re-writing all of the AI.
In a few of the interviews they talked about this.
In NSA games interview the BMS team stated the the HL2 AI code will already mostly cover everything with the exception of the aliens. But in the December 2005 issue of Computer Game World, near the end Dominski was quoted saying “The big change is that Marines will create barricades and improvised cover—they’ll leap from ledges, try to outmaneuver and trap you.”

What I meant by the Combine AI was pultry was it would run in front of you as if saying “SHOOT ME!” The hl1 soliders retreated when wounded, useed geneades to flush you out of cover. The soliders were more satisfing and challenging to fight.
If you played Sven-coop, the soldier will shoot you while running.
Oh, I know this is off topic but I dont want to start a new thread. Should I do a Lets Play (Playthrough) of the mod when it comes out ?
