I guess me coming in at such a late stage in this project doesn’t really affect me that much. Though I look at it like this. When I turned fifteen, I knew there was a year left until I can get my license and drive. It didn’t bug me one be knowing about it when I was younger, and even under the socialistic stress of high school I maintained myself. I was eighteen before I got my first car and license, I was able to cope with it and once I got it, life was good.
For all those speculating this to be a hoax. As a few people said, no one in their right mind would go through ALL this effort just for the lulz. I see them via steam chat in Source SDK and Black Mesa working on it daily to boot. Stop cramming crayons up your ass, pull out the ones that are up there and relax.

I would find it hilarious if this game came out and totally sucked balls.
Who here remembers the Hoaxer Decay PC Remake fiasco? Towards the end, it was all mired by a bunch of interdouches as a giant Hoax. While there isn’t anybody on this dev team (of many more than the Decay remake [cough, 1 {I’m pretty sure}]) whose name is indicative of a hoax, it’s more than likely that the trolls are going to eat this delay up.
Oh, and as far as I know, they never [COLOR=‘DimGray’]promised[EDIT: stated]a hard release date until the trailer, and that was in 2008, guessing 2009. I’d give 'em six months clearance at least before I started drinking the kool aid.

Actually I don’t recall us ‘promising’ anything…people will take things the way they want to take things though (not you, but the people who are complaining about broken promises). Do the same people bitch and moan when their pre-ordered games (that they paid full retail price for, mind you) are delayed? Probably, but then they get them and play them and are happy.
