BioShock Infinite

There’s a lot of illogical bullshit going on in wow (e.g. the human Tirion Fordring befriends Eitrigg who’s an orc? The whole game has spent 20 years depicting how much those two races fucking hated each other to death) As well as a lot of stereotypes (e.g. Varian Wrynn is basically your common fairy tale king. Most middle-age kings were depicted as fat and lazy if I remember correctly.) Anyway, screw that. This is a Bioshock thread.

And once again I have to say that you’re not reading what I’m saying.
[The variables in Comstock’s universe are not neccessarily the same as the ones in Booker’s universe. Will I have to repeat myself? Booker is reborn as Comstock, Comstock meets Rosalind Lutece and exposes himself to her tear machine. THEN he meets Lady Comstock and attempts getting a child to no avail.]

Spoiler goes:
[COLOR=’#191919’]Now I get you perfectly. I was under the impression that all the universes were only a result of tear manipulation, not a natural phenomena that co-exist with each other. Because for example Elizabeth could make them according to her desires artificially with the suppression device off, (envisioning literary any possibilities) so I assumed all had to be same.

So simply either one Booker’s Anna has died along with his wife as a result of problematic pregnancy, or they haven’t even met?

Varian a generic king? Show me another who has lost memory later becoming a gladiator and got half his psyche magically materialized into another person by an evil dragon?
Terenas Menethil II was the generic king you speak of… old and lazy.
About Tyrion, how is that illogical? He was a man of peace and wanted the fighting to end so all the races could get along and fight against the common enemy. How is that different from Thrall, an orc befriending humans? Hell, his adoptive sister who sacrificed herself for him so he could escape slavery by her father was one as well… not everyone is a racist there.
For example Orcs and Draenei went along before the former drank demonic blood. Every conflict starts somewhere and has to end one day.

Anyway, wouldn’t [COLOR=’#191919’]Booker/Comstock indeed classify as prophets? What about the visions of destroyed New York in case of the former and floating city in case of the latter?

I have a little theory about Booker’s visions

[ You know how old Elizabeth takes you to the future and shows you New York? What if Booker’s first vision without her was actually her trying to show him what would happen? In some of the voxophones she talks about removing the siphon so she can bring him to the future, what if she tried to bring him into the future but the siphon was severely limiting her powers so she could only show him New York for a few seconds? ]

I also think that she induced Comstock’s first vision. Hell, maybe Booker’s vision was an accidental byproduct: she just implemented a new constant wherein wherever Booker is baptized, he sees that same vision.

What’s the exact explanation behind the Siren? It somehow doesn’t fit with the multiverse stuff, seems too supernatural.

My explanation for her is [that Elizabeth brought part of her through a universe and part of her was created by Elizabeth’s “wish fulfilment” and since part of her is Elizabeth (in a way), she has the power to bring people from other universes.]

im reviving this to say:

HOOOOOOOORRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
Burial at Sea episode one is gonna release 12th November! Not very long to go!

Awesome! Can’t wait.

Not very long for who, I can’t wait a week, not 3.

JUST FIVE MORE DAYS, GUYS.

I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE, WOULD YOU KINDLY JUST RELEASE THE DLC!!!

I dunno, for once I’m all hyped for the story and all and even improved gameplay, but on another hand, I didn’t like Rapture, I’m kinda claustrophobic or something.

JUST ONE MORE DAY

Reviews say 7/10, too short apparently.

eh, fuck gaming journalism.

Yes, fuck gaming journalism over a game you haven’t played yet.

Fuck 'em.

I more of said that because (imo) most (if not all) gaming journalists speak complete bollocks, no matter what game it’s concerning.

That’s a very narrow view of gaming journalism. As on every field of work, there are lots of hacks and unprofessional people. But there’s also people who can offer wonderful insight. For instance, I recommend you read Polygon or at least listen to their weekly podcast, the Besties. You may not always agree with their opinions, but they’re not complete bollocks.

I like Totalbiscuit. Everything he says sparks controversy, and I have no idea why.
