Yeah, I loved bioshock.
The escort mission was easy, besides, what are you complaining about?

With Bioshock Infinite Irrrational strengthens a style of game not a series, so we will get more worlds as more Bioshock games are released in the future, Everything started with System Shock 2 and now we are getting to infinite, well im starting to see it as the Final Fantasy series. Can be a good idea so the stories wont be overexploited to get something good, i mean if they made every game setting on rapture it could get boring and not impressive so that wont work dont ya.( although they will go back to Rapture in some time but not in every title).
I’d prefer it if they didn’t reuse Rapture, honestly. It was awesome, and it still has some potential, but no more so than a completely new setting.
Imagine what they could do in the future if they establish all these different “biomes” though. Like if Columbia was destroyed and plummeted into the sea.
I’m a bit curious about what, if anything, they’ll do after Columbia. I mean, they’ve got flying in the sky and underwater, so what else is there that’s just as crazy?
A 1960’s sci-fi styled moon base? A steampunk underground Victorian city? Those have all been done to death.
Everything started with System Shock 1. The decaying, lonely settings, the audio logs, the modular upgradability, the excellent writing…the soul of the 'Shock series all started there. Even though Levine didn’t work on it, he’s brought a lot of core elements forward into every game.
yes it is indeed, you are correct.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bioshock series expands further and further with more and more wild civilizations collapsing. Calling it now: the next Bioshock will be set in the Super Volcano beneath Yellowstone National Park.
Or an underground Byzantine city inside a comet hurtling towards the sun.
I love it. Make a city of igloos on top of the comet and we got ourselves a hit.
