Just got an update for HL2, yeah I know it’s a bit late but I wasn’t loged in on Steam for a while and under the News for HL2 I found THIS.

What are you guys thinking about that?

Did you alredy know about this project?

Considering there are a thousand other black mesa stuff out on the internet, there is no reason for us to think this prompts any ‘statement’ from us any more than the purchase brothers video would

I thought it was pretty good, but the man playing Adrian was to small. He didn’t look like a marine, especially a specialtist. My Father is a marine, and i am the only person in my family that can fist-fight him and come CLOSE to winning. He is HUGE. :slight_smile:

I would watch it (might not buy it, it all depends) and I would watch the other one, Escaping City 17 (is that what it’s called?). The beyond black mesa trailer looked OK i guess, but not realistic enough. the grenades and explosions were obviously fake. People complain about shaky camerawork, but I mean, come on! He was dodging bullets and freakin grenades! Do you REALLY expect the camera to be steady?It made it more realistic for me. City 17 looked a little more realistic, though, besides the zombies. They look kinda weird…

I have used the searchfunction and it told me that there are no resultes so I decided to open a thread to ask you what you think about this project or maybe some other projects like this.

I mean come on, you are active members on this Forum what depends to a project what seams to be dead, but you belive in it and you belive that it will be released … any day, if that isn’t real love to the Black Mesa univers then I don’t know what “love” means. And videos like this are some great work what showes us that the whole Black Mesa thing is not dead, not in our hearts, not in the BMS developers brains, and hell it even lives in this guys what want to show us that Black Mesa is something what has never bean in the Gameing univers befor.

I think it should be respected.

Sorry if I’ve made some misstakes, but I’m “only” one of “these Germans” :smiley:

I saw the trailer and it looks pretty well done way better than piece of crap Half-Life Uplink short film, I’m excited to see how it will turn out… but I’m more excited for that “I’m the Freeman” Trailer even if it is CG.
