When I googled for the Maryland uniform, that image I found was taken and uploaded just an hour ago from the ongoing game which prompted me to search for it. Current score: 21-23, Maryland.
edit: Miami took the lead for a second, 24-23, made it exciting, but… MARYLAND WINS, 32 to 24.

Apparently the uniform was first unveiled at the beginning of that game. The news programs say a lot of people on Twitter are calling it ugly, but I have a feeling those people aren’t familiar with Maryland’s flag. Also, they’re the kind of people who use Twitter.
I’m glad we’re in agreement here, that, aside from fluorescent-blue pants, the Maryland uniform is clearly the best sports uniform of all time. Apparently their shoes match, too:

Football has the best general setup for uniforms, especially in recent years.
Now even the undershirts have padding integrated in the design.
It’s usually segmented and it looks marvelous.
You don’t even have to insert the pads into the girdles any more because it’s all practically sewn to your ass.
Miami has an angry dolphin wearing a tiny helmet for a logo. That combined with their obnoxious aquamarine-on-orange color scheme makes for the best uniform in any league.

Since Ramirezoid is talking about logos now, I feel it only fair to bring up the Oakland Raiders. That shit is epic.

I bet it’s because if there were a ninja team, the Raiders would step up their game, and we would only ever see two teams in the Super Bowl.

I do when it’s Maryland [or Redskins or Ravens or Navy], and I doubly-do when it’s the Maryland flag.
I was at a music festival recently, on the beach, and when a friend and I were walking by one of the hotels between stages, they had a grassy yard with an inflatable screen & projector setup… some NFL-sponsored tent… some people sitting around at night watching ESPN.
It was SportsCenter or something, and when they played a clip of the Terps (in their new uniforms) I made a point of diving sideways onto the grass (and shouting “Maryland!”) to watch it.
There is a Ninja team. The Teenage Mutant Maryland Terps.
