Best Single Player HL2 mods?

i found Underhell and nightmare House 2 to be the best single player mods

I started playing Minerva yesterday, and this happened.

Makes me a bit sad.

he has a patch on moddb

you gotta do a full reinstall, however. still, worth it.

Huh, didn’t check moddb, I just went to his website. You would think it would be up to date :stuck_out_tongue:
(I’ve played Minerva before, I just want to play it again because it was quite enjoyable.)

Haha, did it just fly all the way around the island?

No, it let me off in the usual spot, it’s just the water :fffuuu:
There are supposedly more bugs, but I didn’t bother getting past the surface of the island, figured there would be more and it would be best to do something about it before going deeper.

There are more bugs, but the patch fixes everything.

When I first played Minerva, I didn’t know they were bugs xD I just thought it happened to look weird… silly me, I enjoyed it anyway. Fortunately, when running properly, Minerva looks brilliant ^^

Unreleased : Black Mesa,Operation Black Mesa,Guard Duty,Opposing Force 2.
Released : Minerva,Human Error,Nightmare House 2.

How do you know the unreleased ones will be the best? For all we know, we’ve been fapping for years over a mod that is going to be horribad.

(I hope that BM isn’t bad, but it is still a possibility)

I’m VERY impressed by the work of these teams, and I’m optimistic about them

It’s possiburu, Duke Nukem is a prime example too much hype and release date push backs caused a slur of immature game reviewers to give bad ratings. I actually enjoyed it though.

I would normally disagree, but then I’d have to face the wrath of Kamina.

What I will say, though, is that although DNF was enjoyable (albeit mildly), it felt too little like a Duke game and more like a game from 2002, when people tried to be storytellers but didn’t have a story yet.

Back on topic, Paranoia is an awesome mod.

Isn’t Paranoia HL1, though?

I played an HL2 version, but I forgot where I found it… :expressionless:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
