I’m relatively sure it’s Air Force Guy. I think Air Force Guy is a very cool guy he fights on streets and not afraid of anything. He looks kinda different every Street Fights game because it’s a different guy from the Air Force, they pick their best soldier to do battle for them on the streets.

Also, how could I have forgotten this game considering how much I rant about it being the best point and click.

The sound of the synthesizer/PSFs did wonders for the game’s soundtrack. I don’t think it would have been nearly as memorable if it used a full orchestra.

i just prefered f-zero with it’s jazz-metal style of music (which was in the original and X), GX just went all out techno (which is understandable because the game was made by SEGA)
hopfully the next f-zero (if there is going to be one…) will go back to its jazz and rock/metal roots for soundtrack, to give some variety for a seemingly futurastic game (which would typically have techno)

maybe we could have some luck with the wii u, as the controller looks like it was designed for racing games (nintendo said f-zero wouldnt play well on the original wii due to its controller style)

other notes, Cpt. Falcon is the guy from Mach Rider, which means he is over 500 years old (f-zero seems to be a spiritual successor to mach rider)

*edit i here f-zero will make a small appearance in Nintendo Land for the Wii u

good to know nintendo still has interest in f-zero…

f-zero is honestly the best racing game imo

Fuck, now I need to play Journey again. Like, 5 times. Over one week. It’s definitely in the running, along with the Final Fantasy series. (and probably many others I can’t remember right now) Uematsu did some excellent tracks that I’ll never forget. (even if he turned some of the less memorable tracks into shitty rock covers)

I’ve let this thread go on too long without checking on it. I’m gonna go through a bunch of these links in the next few days.

Oh, and you remember the EVE soundtrack from earlier? They’ve just revealed that they’ve made a completely new dynamic soundtrack system for the newest expansion. I’d link it here but they haven’t actually shared it yet.
