BBMIP 2.3

Well the end of the year was a zoo, but lots was finished for CU2. Now lots of things are being done for CU3/STU. Here is a small sample of the most recent stuff.

And finally a sample of the skybox models.

Shredded rebar and guard rails make me happy.

AIRPOOOOOORT!!!
Not sure why knowing there’s going to be an airport makes me so happy, but damn it, it does.

Looking good!

Fantastic work!

The day BM finally gets finished is the day i will make a comparison video between the free mod and the final game.

Brian is responsible for maybe 60 - 75% of all the models used in STU. The rest are by Spencer. And boy are these maps looking amazing because of it.

And yours are/were already amazing.

But it seems new models for the parking lot and such it seems (pic 4)

Both the bottom 2 are for the destroyed garage.

Pipe texture finished.

Amazing!

The devil is in the details, you devils. Looking sweet.

It’s cool that you used the same bracket type as the gaspipe series, consistency is always nice.

those pipes are looking real nice.

I love pipes, I’m a pipe man, ask crypt

Those pipes look awesome, gj Brian

where is
BBIMP? and cu2?[/size]

If you own the game you already have cu2. It is the Crossfire Update . https://steamcommunity.com/app/362890/discussions/0/458604254420036097/

BBMIP is “Brian’s Black Mesa Improvement Project”. It used to be for showcasing remodels that he made from the mod version --> retail, but recently he’s just been using it to show off models he’s working on, because it’s fun!

CU2 is “Content Update 2,” which was our internal codename for the Crossfire Update. It was released just before Christmas.

CU3 is the next update, and is our internal codename for what will likely be named the Surface Tension Update.

As to where they all are, they’re all right here - at the Black Mesa Research Facility!

And then up to CU4

Who knows how many of them there will be…

Not many i hope.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
